Home grown greens!

I had a salad with greens that were grown directly across the street in the community garden. Terlingua is a fun little town with hippies and old rock dwellings that have been rehabbed.

If you are staying in the Big Bend Holiday Hotel, or anywhere else nearby, have breakfast here. Outdoor seating. Food was excellent. Great experience to dine al fresco in the ghost town. Hope to go back someday.

Good coffee but after 45 minutes of waiting for an English muffin left still without eating. However they do have internet and a nice patio.

The GhostTown Café seems to have passed into history. After having several different operators, it's doors have been closed for almost a year now. Like LaKiva ( also closed after the untimely death of its owner ) the really great places to eat and socialize seem to be hitting the dust.

Went to ghost town not really a ghost town but the story was interesting. Ate at the cafe and the sandwiches were good. A guy at the store told me to have the meatloaf sandwich. It was excellent. They close at 1pm.

As laid back as you would expect given its location in the heart of the Ghost Town - but serves a good menu and good coffee from a tiny widow. A good breakfast to set you up for a day in the Park.

Tried to go for breakfast based on tripadvisor advice about 9 am on a Thursday during spring break which is busy season. Not open.

It's Terlingua. Laid back folks and great breakfast for good price. The girls aren't slow, they are just great.

Breakfast is my favorite meal and Ghost Town Cafe does it incredibly well from the sausage gravy to home fries and the ability to create your own meal. Tyra and her crew are incredibly friendly and helpful with lots of info about the area. Hang around and the local and visiting musicians will put on an improptu concert. Definitely a... More
