Delicious

First off our server was a delight. Very cheerful and pleasant. And she stayed on top of things I got the chicken and dumplings which always reminds me of my grandmother. Good ole comfort food. My husband hit the chicken and rice special. He said it was very good. Nice relaxing experience

Good place for a hearty breakfast with large portions and grits if you like them with just about every egg breakfast. The country fried steak was very good and the hashbrown casserole is wonderful. The gravy for bisquits got cold and thick too fast. Great coffee and sitting by the fireplace was a real treat. Also large selection of healthy... More

I thought the country store was kind of nice to look around in while waiting. The service was very prompt and the menu items looked pleasing. My sister opted for the Breakfast Scramble and it was good but underwhelming, she had to hunt for the vegetables. The biscuits were good, but the gravy tasted off with smoke flavoring added. The... The French toast with sausage had the potential to be very good.So did the egg, biscuit and bacon breakfast. However I can't understand why the waitress didn't bring the butter, syrup, and jam at the same time. By the time we caught her attention to ask for them then waited for her to get back around to us our food... More

Menus and daily specials give lots of choices for breakfast, lunch, or dinner meals. Everything we have had at this location has been very good. Favorites include the turkey and dressing and the chicken and dressing specials. Although not a low calorie place, vegetables and fruit sides are available and were fine, too. Service has always been friendly and efficient.

Busy waiter brought warm food that was cold before we could eat it all. Coffee was weak. Biscuit were great.

Stopped a little before noon on a Saturday, traveling from Round Rock towards NE Texas. We were cold, wet, and worn out, hostess and servers made us very comfortable. Wife and 2 granddaughters ordered varying degrees of breakfast ( the French toast with cream cheese filling and berries, apple pancakes, buttermilk pancakes, etc), all were very very good. Grandson had... More

Some items on the menu are pretty tasty and some not, but it's an inexpensive and comfortable place to meet with family and friends. The store part always has unique and interesting gifts, which is the main reason we like to go there. Their breakfasts are always good.

This store was typical and what is expected of a Cracker Barrel. Always good food and a fun place to shop. I bought very pretty poncho that kept me warm on our trip up north.
