I went to Megg's cafe for brunch and was pleasantly surprised with the food, the decor and the service. The crab cake benedict will not disappoint.

My wife and I ate here twice, both evening meals, when in town for a medical procedure at nearby Scott & White Memorial Hospital. The first time, my wife had the pulled pork sandwich and I had the fried chicken BLT. Both were very nicely prepared and tasty. Service was quiet and attentive. The second meal, two evenings later, was... More

Meggs is my favorite breakfast in the Temple area and all the Hamilton Bread is delicious. I often give the bread as gifts at Christmas. My husband and I enjoy dining regularly. The breakfast potatoes and cheesy grits are my favorite sides. Their own blend of coffee is exceptional. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are filled with local grown fresh... More

Delightful cafe with European charm. Food is organic and from local farms. Simple but exquisite. Just my cup of tea!

This is truly local fresh organic breakfast. The plates are huge and filling. It's great to support local establishments in the area.

I ordered take out breakfast. Everything was good, but the potatoes were salty and the toast was not crunchy toast.

They have an excellent breakfast and brunch menu. They freshly squeeze their own orange juice and their mimosa's are my favorite. They are attached to a bakery and the different bread choices are wonderful. Every time I have been there the service is top notch. I highly recommend Megg's!

Based on the reviews I read about Megg's, I decided to stop here for breakfast while passing through Temple on a cross-country trip. Megg's didn't disappointment me at all! My breakfast was cooked to perfection (the potatoes served with the eggs were yummy!) and I enjoyed the apricot preserves served with my toast. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Great... This is a very eclectic restaurant. The food is excellent. From the coffees to the appetizers to the desert you will have a difficult time finding better. I do not like Brussels sprouts, but they have a molasses Brussels sprouts appetizer that is wonderful. Their chocolate deserts cannot be topped. Recommended.

The menu is always a little different. It's fun to go and try something new. Not in the mood to be adventurous? Try an omelette. It'll make you cry. Ok, maybe not, but they are SO good. Tuna sandwiches are my absolute favorite go-to on a busy day and I've even ordered a pint to take home. This is a... More
