Stopped here on a business trip, just happened to see it. I can only rate the sandwich I had and take-out service, did not eat in the restaurant. I had the fried chicken BLT on rustic french bread and home-made chips. The sandwich was very flavorful-chicken fried perfectly, crispy bacon, lettuce and something called green tomato chow chow--yummy. It comes... More

the shrimp and grits were terrible...no taste. This is second time I've eaten here and even sandwiches are so so. Way way overpriced for sure. Now I don't know about breakfast items. Took 30 mins to get food but waitress was nice and attentive.

I can't get enough of Megg's! Hands down the best restaurant in Temple. The eggs Benedict are super yummy. I love the deviled eggs and all of their salads. The chicken and waffles are also a favorite. I also appreciate that they use local farmers whenever they can. Give them a try if you haven't already.

Megg's is always our go to restaurant for a really good breakfast. Ingredients are locally grown and always fresh. Service is usually very good also

This place is one of Temple's hidden little secrets! Upon arrival, people are very friendly. The "Cafe" has a organic/vegan bakery on the waiting area... And it smells sooooo good! The rustic look and feel is perfect. Customers have options, to eat inside or out in the porch-like setting. Our kids loved the trivia cards at the center of the... More

Temple needed a place like Meggs so badly. I just want fresh ingredients and freshly prepared food and if it tastes good thats a bonus. But at Meggs you get it all. Whatever the price is worth it to me. No soup they make disappoints. No meal I have had ever disappoints. The staff is great except for a few... More

I've been going here since it opened in 2010, and love the food and service. However, w/in the last few months, the quality of the food has declined. The ingredients are not as fresh: found some brown in my lettuce in the salad, once we ordered take out and they forgot the salad dressing. The recopies are the same, but... More

Loved this place. I had the special pancakes which were pumpkin with a whipped cinnamon cream on top. I wanted to order more they were so good. Make sure you beat the crowd on Sunday. We made it right in time and had no wait but when we left people were all outside waiting for a table after church. Loved... More

We've been going to Megg's cafe about twice a month for the last year or so because the brunch is awesome there. We've never had bad service until this past Sunday for late lunch. It was a little after 3 and it was not busy at all, maybe 5 or 6 tables with customers at the most. The service was... More
