Incredible Breakfast!

I'm told the pancakes are the best in town, I had the BLT Eggs Benedict and it was fantastic. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food, and to be so good, it was very reasonably priced.

We got dinner to go as our hotel was next door and we could not leave sick person in hotel. My fried chicken sandwich was AWFUL! Dried out leather like piece of chicken on a bun with tasteless bacon and lettuce, tomato and sweet pickles. Only thing I could taste on the whole thing was the pickles. "Bland and tough",... More

We got to Meggs after church and it was crowded with a 20 minute wait. That is a lot less than other chain restaurants in this area. The food was much better than other restaurants we have visited here. I recommend the breakfast Eggs Benedict. Smoothest Hollandaise ever! They are open for breakfast, lunch and brunch and we plan to... More

We love Megg's for their commitment to quality and freshness. They use many locally grown produce and eggs, and their menu is varied enough for every taste. The breakfasts are to die for, and the sandwiches and soups are good, too. We particularly love the homemade potato chips, the pretzels with pimiento cheese, and the fried pickles for appetizers. The... More

When traveling to Temple for business, I eat at Megg's almost every day; whether its breakfast or lunch, I always try something new and I've never been disappointed.

We started with potato soup which was delicious. Great texture and so rich. I had the southern fried chicken sandwich. It was awesome. House made bun was fantastic. My wife had BLT Benedict. The pork belly was cooked perfectly. Great stop. I'll definitely make the trip to eat here again.

Like this place for breakfast. Be careful of buying baked goods. Do not get your gf bread sliced. It is good just baked, not sliced. The toast for breakfast is gf, just not sure how gf because they do not clean slicer before slicing gf bread. Eggs, bacon is awesome.

We met friends here on our travels home and were delighted with this wonderful lunch spot. Service was prompt and friendly, but not over bearing. Lunch items ranged from excellent salads (try the caprese) to great sandwiches (reuben or caprese) to their traditional shrimp and grits. All were served piping hot and were delicious! We will definitely return for the... More

Everything here is delicious and they use local ingredients. Wonderful sandwiches, soups, salads and breakfast any time of day. Brunch on the weekends with great bloody Mary's! Love this place.

Meggs has the best breakfast food around. The dishes are simple but the delivery is great. They support local farmers and I always feel like dishes are consistent. Lunch and dinner are great too!
