Meg's is between Austin and Dallas off of Interstate 35. We stopped for brunch and had the crab cakes Benedict, pancakes, ham, potatoes, and eggs. Great, friendly service! Our server, Ashley, made sure our coffee cups stayed full.

Went there after the Fairfield Inn had no breakfast anymore. Had a very omelette and a coffee of Starbucks quality. Especially the bread come very fresh from the bakery in the same house. Ambience is nice and staff is friendly. Probably the best breakfast we had in 3 weeks on a trip across the states.

This is the longest by far I have ever had to wait for a meal and I eat out a lot. Arrived there about ten till noon and was not seated till almost one! My daughter was told the wait would be 20-25 minutes when our party of five arrived. After we were finally seated and ordered our food it... More

I have visited Meggs twice. I have been less than impressed. The service is painfully slow, even though the restaurant is not crowded. The menu does offer some unique and great options, but you definitely pay for the creativity. There are better food options in the area.

Megg's has an excellent egg benedict. Next time I am in Temple, I will definitely make my way back for another delicious meal. One of my co-worker's enjoyed what he called the best blueberry muffin he has ever had!

My son and I were passing through Temple and stopped in here. This place doubles as a bakery and a restaurant. It is bright and comfortable and the staff is friendly and attentive. There is a five seat, granite coffee bar as well. The menu is not laden with to many items but there is a good variety of options.... More

What a gem. A well planned menu using locally sourced produce and meats with house made breads and desserts. We enjoyed steak tacos and a pork tort a on a french baguette. Not your usual bread for a total but perfect to absorb the fabulous juices from the meat. It smashed down perfectly just like the Italian pork sandwiches at... More

Megg's is something different in Temple. A little bit organic, a little bit natural, a little bit traditional and a whole lot of good. We had breakfast and between the five of us we sampled just about everything on the breakfast menu. Everything is fresh and tastes wonderful whether it was the oatmeal, omelets or traditional two egg breakfast. There... More

We had to wait 20 mins to get a table but it was worth it! The food is fresh and prepared on site. They also buy from local farmers market. I love businesses that support their communities! I ordered the pork torta....amazing!! No one at our table had a complaint about the food at all. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.... More

While visiting the Temple area, we decided to try Megg's Cafe based on other TripAdvisor reviews. Megg's did not disappoint. We were there for breakfast and we both ordered omelets. The omelets were huge and the home fries were delicious. We were very pleasantly surprised to find out that they offered gluten free bread, which was made in their bakery.... More
