Great little place

We eat there when in town visiting, and are never disappointed. Great service and food, not to mention the freshly baked breads, muffins and cookies!

I eat there frequently for brunch. Not a fan of dinner choices. Too fancy for my palate but bake goods delish.

Great food and nice atmosphere to bring family. The food taste home made and tastes great. Recommend to any travel or that if your traveling I-35 or Hwy-36, please stop. Do not let this opportunity pass you by. Good luck.

We visited on an evening when the special of the day was pork chops with macaroni and cheese and fresh vegetables. We chose the special and we were very surprised at the high quality of the meal. It is off the beaten path, but very much worth the time to find it.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, the fresh food, and the homemade bread and the service was very good. I have seen their chef buying fresh veggies and fruits from the area farmers markets.

Went in for breakfast for the first time going there and couldn't have been more pleased. More food than one person can eat. We went to the bakery there after eating and bought some fresh bread and cinnamon rolls to take home.

I went twice in one week! I was introduced to Meggs and had a sandwich with some lentil soup and took home a loaf of bread from the bread co. Later that week I went back for breakfast....hands down the best breakfast meal I have had in years. I cannot think of a meal that would beat the BLT eggs... More

I was very excited about the fresh food Meggs promised. The deviled eggs were amazing but the hush puppies (a recommendation from the server) fell kinda flat. The smoked ham and jelly were nice but the puppies felt a little greasy. I ordered the muffuletta and my brother ordered the chicken Bahn mi. The muffuletta spread fell flat with more... More

After I read the menu and saw pictures on-line I was excited to go to Megg's Café. The actual restaurant was a little disappointing. At one time Megg's was a cute and bright café. The food , the service and the management needs a make over. I will keep going back in hopes to see needed change.
