Megg's is something different in Temple. A little bit organic, a little bit natural, a little bit traditional and a whole lot of good. We had breakfast and between the five of us we sampled just about everything on the breakfast menu. Everything is fresh and tastes wonderful whether it was the oatmeal, omelets or traditional two egg breakfast. There... More

We had to wait 20 mins to get a table but it was worth it! The food is fresh and prepared on site. They also buy from local farmers market. I love businesses that support their communities! I ordered the pork torta....amazing!! No one at our table had a complaint about the food at all. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.... More

While visiting the Temple area, we decided to try Megg's Cafe based on other TripAdvisor reviews. Megg's did not disappoint. We were there for breakfast and we both ordered omelets. The omelets were huge and the home fries were delicious. We were very pleasantly surprised to find out that they offered gluten free bread, which was made in their bakery.... More

We were in Killeen to visit our grandson and family and looked on trip advisor to find something different. Only a 20 minute drive and after our dinner agreed it was worth an hour if necessary. The shrimp and grits was the hit at our table. Every bite came with a different flavor. My compliments to the chef for such... More

Getting off of I-35 for a break from traffic, frontage roads, construction, turn a rounds and stress is a MUST. Our destination was Austin. Exhausted, we found Megg's Cafe on Trip Advisor. Megg's was our oasis. At first glance I thought we were in a Perkin's, nothing wrong with that, BUT, this place had it together. Great service, healthy and... More

When I visit Temple, I try to include a trip to Megg's. I just love that you can get quality food like this in my once-upon-a-time hometown. Maybe I wouldn't have moved if Megg's had been here way back when. I highly recommend it!

The food was delicious, fairly priced and the server was absolutely charming. All the staff were very pleasant. Three of us had salads and one had the fried fish sandwich with house potatoes. We'd be happy to recommend them. The aroma from their in-house bakery is just heavenly. If I had one comment to make, it would be that the... More

My wife, daughter and I ate a late lunch on my birthday at Megg's. Thankfully no noisy Bday hubbub, just excellent service from Heather. We had the deviled eggs and spinach / artichoke dip for appetizers. The eggs were great; I wish they sold the bacon marmalade in a jar. The dip was served with toasted bread from the bakery,... More

Excellent breakfast place to eat in Temple! Atmosphere is welcoming, staff is very friendly! We had the Crab cake benedict that I give a B+! Get there early or wait is typically 15 to 20 minutes, but it is well worth it!
