This is a nice place for lunch. Alittle pricey, but they have different selections you don't find anywhere else.

I decided to make a stop here on a road trip to San Antonio. I'm sure glad I did because this place was excellent! The fact that they use a lot of locally grown produce in their food is a plus for me. I ordered the BLT Benedict and couldn't get over how good it was. The poached eggs were... More

The freshest food in town. Breakfast, lunch, supper, excellent. Home made pancakes. We eat here at least once a week.

Megg's is a great place to go if you want home cooked meals and a quaint atmosphere. They always have a great selection for sandwiches, soups, and salads. Their menu is always changing so you won't have the same thing on the menu from day to day. Try to go during the week as they tend to get busy on... More

Great place, especially for breakfast. They always try to accommodate your needs. Our future granddaughter-in-law wanted something that she usually gets but found it wasn't the right time of the year. Waitress checked with the cook and he granted the bride-to-be her wishes. Very sweet folks.

If you're a foodie, Megg's is the local place for you. Fresh ingredients, catchy menu. Everything's good, even the coffee. EVEN the oatmeal! I drop weekly to buy fresh bread. There's none better in town.

I am a baker, and therefore my standards are considerably high. I had all but given up hope that there was any quality food in the Temple/Belton area, but a friend insisted that we go eat at Megg's for brunch. The brioche is out of this world. Thick, soft slices, with just the right amount of butter content in the... More

I'm told the pancakes are the best in town, I had the BLT Eggs Benedict and it was fantastic. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food, and to be so good, it was very reasonably priced.

We got dinner to go as our hotel was next door and we could not leave sick person in hotel. My fried chicken sandwich was AWFUL! Dried out leather like piece of chicken on a bun with tasteless bacon and lettuce, tomato and sweet pickles. Only thing I could taste on the whole thing was the pickles. "Bland and tough",... More
