Its a little ways off the main roads, and slightly difficult to find in their temporary location - but oh is it worth it. Quite possibly the best burger I ever had. Portions are HUGE and the price is a great value for the money. If I ever find myself in Temple you can bet I will be eating here!

Our first visit, and we wished we split our lunch! The cheeseburgers were huge and homemade. The small order of fries and small order of onion rings gave us more than enough to share. We enjoyed the ambiance and friendly service. Will definitely be back!

Great hamburgers and onion rings and chicken fried steak. Temporary new location is better than the old one.

Excellent food. Down home cooking. The whole menu is full of tasteful choices. Supeior employees. Schedule this on your lunch menu.

The food was pretty good. For me it wasn't the best burger but it was good. The portions are huge! The service was friendly and the place was very crowded. The carpet smelled like stale smoke and is pretty gross looking. I think the place is temporary.

It's a shame they had a fire a few months ago, but they were able to find a temporary location so the employees still have wages coming in. Anyways, they have the best burger in town, it's greasy, but who eats a hamburger thinking it's healthy? Price is right, and service is good and timely. A+

Had the pot roast special. Quick and delicious for 7 bucks. While I didn't have a burger, they looked great. Nice bar and a bunch of TVs. Apparently this is their new location. Thumbs up!

Wes's Burger Shack is excellent. It recently burned and he has relocated to The Green Door and cooks there. Not sure if this is a permanent fix or temporary but either way it's the best burger in town along with the friendliest staff ever!

They have moved since their fire and still great atmosphere, service and food! The owner regularly checks on you and you never want for anything, the burgers and onion rings (both of which we always get) are great! Don't miss this little gem downtown.

Lunch at Wes's with family today and what a nice experience. It is as it sounds, a hole in the wall café that is always busy. People say the chicken fried steak is the best, but I had the smoked pork loin with homemade cole slaw on a bun and the first bite melted in my mouth. The service was... More
