We've been coming here for several years and sharing a plate of fish. We ask the waitress why the extra charge she said it was because we shared the order. I said this must be something new she said yes but she doesn't make the rules it's on the menu. Older people don't eat that much at night and sometimes... More

I returned yesterday with my large group from throughout the state that, by tradition, finishes our three days in Belton each June with lunch at Chuck's. Someone actually had the audacity to suggest we try another place since we had eaten barbeque the day before. It was put to a vote and Chuck's won out. Who could pass up those... More

I love this place! The onion rings are gynormous and the chicken fried steak is very good. Check this place out on Fridays for all you can eat catfish! Wonderful stuff! Burgers are mouth watering as well.

The building looks a little run down, and the main dining area a little small, but THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS! Will defiantly be returning.

stopped by for lunch after driving past many times. Small restaurant built like a log cabin. Plenty of parking out front. We were greeted as we walked in and told to just pick a table or order from the cashier for to-go orders. Place was cute inside, clean, and had a large fireplace (not going during our warm day visit).... More

My family and I went and ate here last Saturday evening, the place was packed! That's always a good sign when trying a restaurant for the first time. We're new to the area and I was checking out reviews online for bbq joints and this was one of several that had decent reviews. After eating at Chucks I see why.... More

Went to Chuck's on a Saturday night...great Chicken Fried Steak and Catfish. Waited about an hour for food. Delivered two baked potatoes and one steak to the wrong table first then realized their mistake, took it from table and delivered it to us. Never received the cole slaw side even after asking for it and also never received Tabasco after... More

The catfish dinner is superb. Lightly breaded, deep-fried but not greasy and tasty is the best way to describe the catfish. Easy to miss on the left side of FM 2305 just before the fire station as you head West. This small restaurant is worth a try. I might even try the B-B-Q someday.

Let me start by saying the catfish was amazing. We went and all 4 people in our party enjoyed their food a lot, however beyond the food, the experience was less than great. We went on a very rainy night and there were leaks in the back part of the restaurant, it had been raining in the area for several... More
