Visited this place with my wife after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. It's right on the beach and has an open deck with a great view. My wife had the crabcake sliders, which were awesome and I had the fish and chips, which were very good. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. I wish we... More

The food was mediocre at best and overpriced but still worthwhile because of the proximity to our room and the beach and for the lovely views.

We love hanging out on the deck after a day at the beach or on a date night. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxing. Food is delicious -- lots of interesting menu items and really good burgers. We have never ordered anything here that we didn't like. The servers are friendly and helpful. Sometimes it gets very busy and... More

The Crab Cake Sliders were very good. I wanted a dessert to bring back to my room; however, none were very appealing. I choose the cookies but they were over cooked & hard. Since I stayed at the attached Ocean Village I also ate breakfast the next morning. The croissant breakfast sandwich was very large and quite good. However, the... More

We ate breakfast here both mornings of our stay at the hotel. They were remodeling but were quick to greet and take care of us. It was delicious and satisfying at both meals. We will try them out for lunch or dinner on our next visit to Surfside.

My family had Sunday lunch here while on a quick trip to the beach. The food selection was reasonable. Two of us had the chicken stuffed avocado, one the cheeseburger sliders, and I had the Southwest eggrolls appetizer (i wasn't very hungry, and I correctly anticipated i would have one of my grandson's sliders). The food was well prepared. The... More

Out riding today and stopped by this restaurant for appetizers and something to drink. Outdoor seating is nice, especially this time of year. Casual atmosphere and friendly staff made the evening very enjoyable while looking out over the beach and the gulf coast. This is a great place to enjoy a bite and talking with friends!

First time in the cafe on a road trip from Sugar Land. What a pleasant surprise; right on the beach with an elevated deck, good selection of food and drinks. We spent a lovely couple of hours enjoying the scene and taking our time over a shared veggie burger. Very good burger and nice to find a vegetarian option in... More

The food at Pirates Alley is good, and the view is just icing on the proverbial cake. You won't find nicer staff either.
