We had a pleasant lunch at Benihana before our plane trips leaving Texas. Our waitress was very accommodating and entertaining as well. Our chef was kind of a dud. You had to wonder a little about him. He was a little slow getting set up. He did not put on much of a show, but the food was excellent! Our... More

The food was great, and the chef was entertaining while cooking everything in front of us. Some say this is an expensive place, but with soup, salad, shrimp appetizer, and rice with your meal, it really is a deal. My wife loved it and wants to return.

I visited a Benihanna restaurant years ago and was not impressed, as a result, my husband and I had to go to a fast food restaurant and get a meal, cause the chef didn't prepare for the people at the tables. I never returned to this establishment. I decided to go back for my family and was pleasantly surprised to... More

My husband and I always share the filet & scallops because there is so much food! The sushi is always fresh and the onion soup and salad are awesome! We also love the chicken fried rice although it's extra. The managers are always nice, but the waitresses are not very friendly and they have a hard time keeping everyones drinks... More

We celebrated our Son's birthday here in February at this restaurant. We did have a long wait for our table but we did not mind. The food is definitely overpriced and bland, however, it is fun to watch the chef's throw utensils around and break the ice at any table well. On an average, be prepared to spend around $25-$35... Used to go here frequently several years ago because it was my younger sister's favorite. I don't deny the food is good and the service is entertaining. But ultimately, the food is overpriced, and the staff can be downright rude. Recently we made a reservation days in advance for the extended family because my sister was visiting from college. When... More

This place is run by people who do not know the meaning of a reservation. When you show up they basically say "How can I seat you at that time when all these other people have been waiting?" While I can understand people have been waiting, that's what a reservation is supposed to be for. Manager was a smug, "I... More

We planned a joint mother-daughter birthday at Benihana, Sugar Land and were completely let down. We made a reservation more than a week in advance and were promised (2) tables for our party of (16) guests. We had family and friends driving in from several towns in the Houston area. We arrived 15 minutes early to secure the tables. What... More
