Casual atmosphere, comfortable surroundings, and some of the best entrees you can find. sit a spell.
I had the vegetable omelet and the strawberries and cream. The omelet was quite large; very filling. I think the berries would have been better without the squirt of whipped cream or if they perhaps added some cinnamon to make it a chantilly. Overall I would come again.
Tried on a whim and liked the interior. Employees were nice. Prices were average to high. Had 2 different burgers with sweet potato fries and 2 drinks. $40 for lunch! The burgers and the bacon on them were both dry, overcooked. The fries weren't crispy. The cosmopolitan was syrupy sweet (plus it was the wrong one) and the beer was... More
I have been here many times and usually stick with the breakfast menu...and in the past their breakfast was good. But this time...powdered eggs, sausage as hard as a rock, English muffin barely toasted...and that was just my meal. Nobody was thrilled with their food in my party. Two people had burgers and they were just barely warm...not hot. Yuck.... More
Dropped into the cafe while visiting the First Colony Mall. Cold day and it was nice to have a warm atmosphere and comfortable seating in this cafe. Very busy with the lunchtime crowd but our order was taken quickly and the food prepared in a very timely way. You have to order at the front desk and pay, then are... More
We've been to Black Walnut Cafe twice. The first time, the food was mediocre at best. Over-cooked shrimp, flavorless pasta.... The 2nd time, We didn't even stay to eat. My husband has dairy allergies. When we asked for an allergy menu for dairy, they gave us a gluten-free menu. When we asked again for a dairy-free menu, we were told... More
we went there for a coffee to go and the employee did a cold one and not the one that we ordered and al last we spent there half an hour just to get one cup of coffee.... need to hire people understand their job....
Ok while the food is prepared in an upscale manner, it is over priced. If you want the experience then go for it. If your pockets are light, try somewhere else. There are many places to eat breakfast so this isn't a must. We had French toast, omelets, & sides.
I can see why this restaurant was very busy on Sunday morning, the food is really good! Breakfast burritos and bacon were some of the best I have ever had.
Full of every unhealthy thing you want to eat..burgers etc. rather stylist for casual. I think it's fun
