Solid dim sum experience that is super convenient for people living near the Sugar Land area who are carving dim sum. However, the catch is that the restaurant is a bit on the overpriced side without having the food quality stand out that much to justify the higher price compared to Chinatown's. I would recommend it only if you don't... More

This restaurant is ok. They forgot our appetizers. They brought out our meals appetizers came out when we were done. Eggrolls have shrunk to half the size. Fried dumplings are terrible. Ordered Bun Thit nuoung that was the best. Quality is not what it use to be.

Another great food and service experience! The Mongolian Beef was exceptionally delicious and so was the Hot n Sour soup. Have to come back to try the numerous other menu items.

Kim Son is huge. And crowded. And NOISY! Obviously the food must be good, right? The food we ate was good, but we had a really hard time navigating the ordering process. No one told us what to do. We were not given menus. The food took forever to arrive. The people with carts of food didn't speak English very... More

We are regular customers of this place. We have going to Kim Son since 1970. We are glad that they opened one near where we live. We enjoy and tasted almost all their menus including Dim Sum and desserts. We even have our favorite waiter: Jimmy.

This restaurant has great food, but the service is not recommended. Need better services! Will go again for vietnamese food!

There are a number of excellent places for Dim Sum on Sundays in the Houston area. Our favorite is the Kim Son Restaurant in Stafford. The portions are large and they offer a large selection to choose from. The cart handlers are very friendly, as well as the wait staff. Quite frankly, we really like Kim Son because of its... More

Stopped at Kim Son on a recommendation. Value was excellent (~$13 for most plates) and the food excelled. I had the Mekong Seafood and it was among the best soups I'd ever had out. It was loaded with seafood. Daughter had lettuce wraps (a half-head of lettuce and a bowl of chix & mushrooms). Wife had Hu Tieu Ap Chao... More

The quality was good and tasty, especially the wonton soup, The portions were certainly small and pricey as compared to Pai Wai. I would lean that direction into the future.

The hot and sour soup was great! Didn't care too much for the Vietnamese egg rolls. Garlic chicken was tasty. The desserts are fabulous--have the mango ice cream and mile high mud pie. Also, Jose is a very friendly waiter. Ask for him.
