Very Friendly Service made all the difference

This restaurant is in the remains of an old train depot building. We had the usual burgers, fries and chicken fried chicken. My grandson was in love with a little coin operated train set up in a case. He was also very excited when he heard the real train go by o'90's, but what remains is still... read more

Looking for an authentic Texas watering hole? This is the place. I'm an old train station. Excellent country fried steak! Beers by the bucket.

I have never been to a mystery dining place.... but my sister and I met up there with some of our friends.... Aside from the one woman butchering the songs on stage, the appetizers and food were great and not to forget the desserts were even better..... The show was good the only thing is that the train was too... More

We have had several large group parties here for my meetup group (we went in costumes), Family Birthday and Christmas Party. The prices are very reasonable & the food is excellent. Their shrimp basket (tempura fried) with hush puppies, salad and a loaded baked potato is my absolute favorite. We eat here at least once a month. They have entertainment... More

Though the original building went down in a fire, the old Depot was rebuilt with great time pieces. It has a feeling of good lo' bygone days. The menu is full of great fried foods, hamburgers and nice chili.

We have been coming to this place for over 30 years. The food is average, but certainly decent enough---and they have good entertainment--the original building was the authentic train station there by the railroad--but it burned down several years ago---I happened to be there when it happened---so they rebuilt it and it really has the same "feel" as the original... We went in spur of the moment. I had the cheeseburger and onion rings because that's my taste test meal at a new restaurant. I got mine on a jalapeño bun. The patty was big and juicy, the bun was delicious. The onion rings were cooked perfectly. Added bonus: they have peanuts in the shell on the table and you... More

Split two cheeseburgers and chili cheese fries. Enough to feed two adults and two children. Service was great! Great place to stop and eat while shopping in old Spring.

The truth is that this is a "must see" for those who want to experience the postcard version of "Old Texas"! Each table greets you with a tin pail filled with salted peanuts...."Please throw your shells right n the floor"! Antique tin "HUMBLE" , "ESSO" and "COCA COLA" signs don the wood plank walls and the original tin ceilings have... More

Got a Groupon for this restaurant for this restaurant and took family here who were visiting from Pennsylvania. Glad the Groupon offered a discount. Great décor and location, but yuck, no one wanted to eat because of the annoying flies. The waitress forgot our beverages and had to ask for them 2x, after appetizers wee served.
