We had dinner here to celebrate a friend's birthday and were surprised to see how crowded it was at 5:30. We were able to get a table quickly and waited for our friend to arrive. The waitress was very good. The salads are fresh and cold and the beer bread so good that we got a second loaf. We had... More

Salt Grass like most Landry restaurants has great service and usually good food. This time some food was cold.

We go to this restaurant pretty regularly, and we have tried a good variety of the items on the menu. Our particular favorites are the Seafood "Fondeaux" appetizer, Steak and Shrimp combo platters, and the Filet Oscar. The food is always high quality, and the cooks are consistent. They probably tend to cook a little on the well-done side, compared... More

I dined here alone while on a business trip. Sat at the bar and had a couple of Bloody Marys which were very good. For dinner I ordered the Pats Rib eye which was served a perfect medium rare. The side Caesar salad and beer bread was excellent. The restaurant was very busy (it was happy hour) but my meal... More

Friends picked me up at my hotel on JFK and we went to Saltgrass on I45. Friday night about 6:30. Plenty of room..did not have to wait. My 8oz Primerib was great. Not much on steak ..unless it is great. It was. Good dinner salad. Good bar. Okay wine list. Messina Hoff merlot was good. We had a variety of... More

The food is very tasty, they have many choices, the portions are ample, food is warm, the potato soup is great, I get it every time, the bread is also good and they keep bringing it when they see you are running low, wait staff is friendly and pleasant and always there when you need them, wait time is minimal, plenty... This is my favorite Saltgrass restaurant in the Houston area. Not sure why it says Spring, Tx? it's actually in Shenandoah, Tx right outside of The Woodlands. This location just seems to be run differently than some of the others I visited. Wait staff is always been good and friendly. Food also is great. Come before 4pm and you can... More

We have gone here for birthdays and anniversaries. A little pricey but it is filling and tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is always good when we have gone, I go a little of peak hours to be sure it is not crowded. Never had a complaint!

Excellent service & food. We had a minimal wait the first time we ate here, but it was worth it. Very clean also.

I love the steaks at Saltgrass although my "well done" steak cuts usually are undercooked at this restaurant so I have to send them back to be cooked longer. I prefer the Pat's ribeye steak on the lunch menu (it is more expensive than ground meat lunch) but today I purchased the ground steak for lunch. The ground steak was... More
