We visit the Italian Café about once a month for some unpretentious dining on delicious food at a reasonable price. Located at the entrance to the neighborhood, we have found a friend.

Ate here in January with a few of my girlfriends. It was a Thursday night and was pretty crowded. Overall none of us were impressed. Our waitress was a young girl who acted like she would rather be anywhere else. Never smiled, took a long time to get our drink order, didn't follow up after our food came. Asked several... More

We've been here twice in the last month, and had good meals both times. Tonight was spaghetti and meatballs for me, spaghetti and meat sauce for my husband. The entrees were served very hot, the pasta was cooked well, the sauce was excellent (I like a savory sauce with good tomato and vegetable flavor, and no sweetness), and the meatballs... More

This place is by far the best Italian place around. The dinner entrees include a nice crisp salad and garlic bread at no additional cost. Each dish is prepared with expertise, and has wonderful flavors and great presentaion. Thursday night they had a musicain playing guitar which added ambiance to the evening. The wait staff is very skilled, although it... More

Though I have lived in the area for 20 years I'm ashamed to admit I've never ventured into this gem until last night. Our party of 4 enjoyed the Fettuccine Alfredo, Lasagna and my friend and I split the Crespolini (creamy, buttery, yummy goodness!) with an added a side salad. The prices are comparable to the Italian chains but the... More

Hidden in a small strip center in Spring, TX is a charming family run Italian restaurant The Italian Cafe. Daily specials, solid wine list and simply wonderful meals and desserts. Usually don't have to wait for a table, but occasionally may have to.

This is the perfect example of why a book should not be judged by its cover. The food is just fantastic. We ordered chicken Marsala and the lasagna and they were marvelous. Even the garlic bread rolls they give when u sit are really good. Tasty food and good service. Can't really ask for more

Took the family out for dinner here this weekend. Locally owned. Everything we ordered was outstanding. The chicken Milano and veal marsala were both amazing. The kids ravioli was homemade as was the kids pizza. Their kitchen is open to the dining room so you can see your food being prepared. That is always a plus for me knowing there... More

All I can say is WOW! We have been here numerous times and are ALWAYS pleased. The waitstaff is pleasant...but the food is FANTASTIC. You'll want to try this place! I have dreams about the cannelloni!

Great for couples and families with children alike. Music, atmosphere, service and food are terrific! We started with bruschetta and wine and then my husband ordered the chicken Marsala and I ordered the canaloni (crepes). Everything was delicious. We will be back! Oh, and nice wine choices and frosted mugs for beer too.
