Who knew there was a great meal too?

Great music, upscale venue, terrific acoustics with a surprisingly good menu. They offer a full season of wonderful performances -- from Michael Martin Murphy to gospel. The owner came to greet each guest and made us feel so welcome. As someone who enjoys a good meal and has allergy issues, I... read more

The Dosey Doe Big Barn is actually a theatrical venue for music shows. My wife and I have been there three times. The acts are, without exception, excellent. The food is very good. And the staff is able to handle emergencies without a problem. On one occasion, all of the power for about a mile or so on this side... More

Great fun, large portions of food, nostalgic music! Go early to get seated and settled in. Large and small table seating. Bring friends if you don't want to sit with strangers. We have our next set of tickets already.

This is wonderfully unique concert venue with GREAT food, great acoustics, and great service. The building is really a big barn and what lies inside is great entertainment in a relaxed atmosphere. We had front row seats and were so close to the stage that i could literally reach out and touch Moe Bandy's boots. The acts here are always... More

The Dosey Doe Big Barn is really a big barn but it has perfect acoustics for concerts. This isn’t some huge concert venue where you can’t even see the stage all of the seats are not far from the stage. We went to a dinner show and the food and service was excellent. The ginormous chicken fried steak was enormous... More

Staying in Houston for a few days and want to go somewhere different? Then this is a great place. They do great food and have good music in the evenings with some well known musicians. We went for breakfast yesterday and really enjoyed it. You have to seek this one out as it is easy to miss on the freeway.... More

Wonderful place to enjoy musical entertainment in an intimate setting. Sound is perfect, food is tasty (portions are huge!), and the service is friendly. Many shows include a three course dinner in the ticket price (salad, choice of entre and dessert, along with tea, coffee or soft drink). The Big Barn has an interesting history and lots of charm. It's... More

It is close by and serves a limited menu sit down breakfast. They had two hostesses and 4 waiters and two bussers on duty yet it took about 5 minutes for us to be offered drinks. It is a breakfast place I want coffee as soon as I get out of my car, the hostess should have offered it and... More

This was our first time to the Dosey Doe Big Barn and we were quite impressed. The food was delicious, the service was great and the entertainment was over the top. The night we attended the Dosey Doe the performers were Jazz Attack....Rick Braun, Euge Groove and Peter White, some of Smooth Jazz's top instrumentalist. The show was great. It... More

Dosey Doe was hosting a band I've been wanting to see, tickets were expensive but it included a 3 course meal. You purchase the tickets online with a $50 deposit for each and pay for the balance before the show is over. Doors opened at 6pm and no sooner even though a huge storm was coming through, go to Dickey's... More
