Great intimate concert venue with good food

The Dosey Doe Big Barn is really a big barn but it has perfect acoustics for concerts. This isn’t some huge concert venue where you can’t even see the stage all of the seats are not far from the stage. We went to a dinner show and the food and service was excellent. Staying in Houston for a few days and want to go somewhere different? Then this is a great place. They do great food and have good music in the evenings with some well known musicians. We went for breakfast yesterday and really enjoyed it. You have to seek this one out as it is easy to miss on the freeway.... More

Wonderful place to enjoy musical entertainment in an intimate setting. Sound is perfect, food is tasty (portions are huge!), and the service is friendly. Many shows include a three course dinner in the ticket price (salad, choice of entre and dessert, along with tea, coffee or soft drink). The Big Barn has an interesting history and lots of charm. It's... More

It is close by and serves a limited menu sit down breakfast. They had two hostesses and 4 waiters and two bussers on duty yet it took about 5 minutes for us to be offered drinks. It is a breakfast place I want coffee as soon as I get out of my car, the hostess should have offered it and... More

This was our first time to the Dosey Doe Big Barn and we were quite impressed. The food was delicious, the service was great and the entertainment was over the top. The night we attended the Dosey Doe the performers were Jazz Attack....Rick Braun, Euge Groove and Peter White, some of Smooth Jazz's top instrumentalist. The show was great. It... More

Dosey Doe was hosting a band I've been wanting to see, tickets were expensive but it included a 3 course meal. You purchase the tickets online with a $50 deposit for each and pay for the balance before the show is over. Doors opened at 6pm and no sooner even though a huge storm was coming through, go to Dickey's... More

I have known of Dosey Doe for years but only recently visited the Big Barn and was blown away by the charming atmosphere and history in the place. Tickets for big name shows are not cheap but include the meal, which will be several very nice options, and this is an intimate venue where you sit and eat and enjoy... More

This place is setup for a great night for friends or couples. The evenings are setup as dinner/concerts where you come early for a meal and enjoy a concert after dinner. They host a number of performers from all genres of music and the food is good too! Hop on their website and pick a concert! The place has character!

The Dosey Doe has several great venues to choose from and The Big Barn was the venue my band was scheduled to play. Standing inside, yep, it looks like a big barn with an upstairs with tables and a bar. Downstairs has long tables for groups with the stage as center-focus for many great acts have performed there before and... More
