The oyster must be pasteurized, no flavor. The shrimp and grits were floating on some greasy substance, the blackened shrimp tacos awful on corn tortillas that fell apart. Service was good. Margaritas are ice and lime juice with no tequila.

I absolutely love this place! I love the oyster nachos, the catfish, and the soups are the best I've ever had. I could spend the day hanging out listening to the classic music from the 70's, drinking and munching on oyster nachos. The service is great, the atmosphere is great - I have no complaints here, my friend.

This is one of the few fish restaurants in the neighborhood, but I prefer this place due to its service and also the food that is fresh and healthy. The service is excellent and they really listen to you what you are looking to eat.

Went for lunch and place was less than half full, but the service was incredibly slow. Hubby ordered fish tacos which were decent and a Margarita in a wee glass of mainly ice. I ordered a white fish with a crawfish sauce. It was a 3 oz portion with 4 little tails on it and a scant amount of sauce.... More

I went here because they advertise an all you can eat crawfish special during the week. If you have ever eaten properly done crawfish, do not try this place. The crawfish were boiled in very little flavoring, and then after they sprinkled seasoning on the outside of the already boiled crawfish. This resulted in a terribly messy situation, and virtually... We love Fish City Grill!!!! Start out with a Bloody Mary - it includes an olive, okra and a large shrimp hanging on the glasses. It's very spicy! They always have a wide variety of chalkboard specials. They are very willing to exchange sides and make it your way. Their menu has a huge selection of seafood. They are known... More

I decided I wanted to try this restaurant since it has a (rather limited) gluten-free menu with red beans and rice on it – something I haven't had in a long time. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The food was merely OK. The red beans and rice didn't really have a lot of flavor. My husband had the smokin' hot shrimp... More

Ok, so I read the reviews and thought I'd take the wife out for a nice meal. Staff were friendly, food was as advertised, prices were ok with the occasional item of ridiculousness ($3.99 for a cup.. and a mean a small cup of red beans and rice.. food cost for this maybe $0.15c, prepared in bulk, used all over... Fish City Grill has become my favorite neighborhood restaurant for fish and seafood. I love their blackened catfish with cheesy grits (they also have a shrimp and grits version as well). Fish tacos are also delicious as well! The staff has always been friendly and attentive every time I visit.

The menu has few choices. We had expected a range of fish options and found only a couple. The name is misleading. The restaurant in Southlake is a bar with some food.
