I really enjoyed the burgers here. They are on the smaller side, but I like that. I don't want to dislocate my jaw trying to eat lunch. Bigger isn't always better. Great sweeter tasting bun. Fresh lettuce, tomato and onion. I would consider this a flat top griddles type if burger. The fries tasted freshly cut and they had malt... More

In a sea of chain restaurants, this family owned burger joint is a delight! Don't go for the token salad offered, go for the burger and fries!! the hand cut fries were tender and crispy, and the thin burger patties with cheese melted in between were to die for. The family owners have pictures on the walls of patrons holding... More

I had lunch here with a friend in June 2014. The menu here is pretty basically burgers, fries, and milkshakes, but they do what they do extremely well. The place is very clean and seems to me to be a throw back to something out of the 1950's. The bread they use here is different from anything I have ever... More

One of the very best hamburger restaurants in Southlake. If you like onions, ask to have them grilled and they're even better. The fries are the hard to find hand-cut kind and their portions are very generous. The buns are actually quite tasty, too. They don't really advertise it but if you call ahead to order, they have a pick... More

This is my favorite place for a great hamburger and homemade French fries. I also love the hamburger buns. One visit and you will be hooked.

My husband and I live in the area and love Johnny B's for a few reasons. The hand cut fries are fried up while you wait and they're wonderful. The burgers are small but tasty, topped with cheese, lettuce tomato and a sliced of onion, and the buns actually have some taste to them - ever so slightly sweet as... More

Recommended by a local...Took several hungry divers after practice. Everyone ate and ate! Great fries! Kids loved the shakes! Would eat here again when in the area.

Recently ate dinner here with the family. We all ordered cheeseburgers with fries. The burger cost 9 bucks and you needed a magnifying glass to find it on the bun. The hamburger was tiny and the fries were greasy and overcooked. The cheese on the burger tasted like cheese whiz. Enough said definitely would not return.

Before Five Guys, before Mooyah, before Twisted Root, there was Johnny B's. This basic burger joint in Southlake is inexpensive with a limited menu. The burgers are offered with standard toppings, so nothing really gourmet here. But if you are looking for a no-frills burger place and want to stay local, Johnny B's isn't bad. The place is filled with... More
