We went with the friend who suggested this place. Servers were not attentive at all. We had to ask to be seated by the two young ladies deeply involved by in their conversation. And, it didn't get ANY better. Our friend is beyond friendly, charming, and easy to please. The servers were very rude as he tried to engage them.... More

My wife and I eat out everyday and have our favorite places but every now and then like to have something a little different. We decided to stop in Cowtown Sushi for lunch. We both had the Salmon Bento Box. The Salmon and other items in the box were very good. The service was average and probably should have been... More

I was surprised at the low ratings for service, but then again my wife and have always gone during the week. The sushi is very good and we can normally eat for about $45-$50. That is with an appetizer too

Friend found glowing reviews from a few sites. Its not bad...good ambiance, reasonably priced food. My wife felt the sushi could of been fresher, but it was a Sunday night so this could have been there for a few days. There are a couple of other good ian restaurants up and down 1709...so try Cowtown, then go try somewhere else... More

Going thru a sushi phase right now so we have sushi 2 nights out of the week. Tried Cowtown Sushi. Disappointing! Food was mediocre but worse was the mediocre service. Our waitress didn't try to even crack one smile even with a little coaxing from us, a joke here & there to lighten her mood. She was not amused. Made... More

Eat here often and it's always excellent. We dine in and carry out as well and they always do a great job. Wonderful rolls, entrees, beautiful presentation and excellent service. The ambiance is fabulous too. You wouldn't think so at a strip mall joint next to a Wal Mart grocery, but it's dark and sophisticated. Good for a romantic night... More

First time eating at Cowtown Sushi since we are new to the area. We had put off eating here due to the name "Cowtown Sushi" really? However, this was a very good sushi house. The food was fresh, the staff were great and the price was very reasonable. The dinning area is not very large but we had no trouble... More

Being from Seattle, and enjoying sushi along the west coast and Hawaii, I'm always a little nervous when I try a sushi place in the midwest. If you're really into traditional sushi, like most midwest cities, these folks will fall short. But their "white man sushi" (rolls, sauces, etc) is quite good. Nice atmosphere too. I've been here four times... More

Do not let the exterior fool you. You open the front door to a glass wall of water and soothing wall colors, with paintings accented in red tones. It is one big dining area with a sushi bar, but you don't get the feeling you are in a big bay! I think the water streaming down the wall is very... More
