Always Tasty

I really like this place. I have eaten here several times and the food is always tasty. I do find it a bit pricey, so we don't go frequently, but the wait staff is friendly and attentive, the food is FULL OF FLAVOR and traditional fare. I love their sauces especially. The portions are... read more

My husband and I went to Animias because we had. "cabin fever." I checked Trip Advisor and found this restaurant to have good ratings so we decided to check it out. In this part of Texas, Mexican restaurants are very common and all very similar in menu, decor and service. What sets this restaurant apart is the decor and service.... More

You have to get the table side guac. It is quite a large portion and they can make it as spicy as you want. I like the platters with just 3 items with no rice and beans. There salsa is hot and chips are crispy. Even our little one likes the kids meals.

Went with some girlfriends on a Friday night. The food was really good. Service was not. Orders all wrong (write it down if you can't remember!). My margarita was good but small and no happy so kind of pricey. Good experience with friends.

Nothing special about this restaurant. I have eaten here three times in the last two years hoping the food would be equal to the reviews. Each time the tacos, enchiladas and chicken dishes were just average. Long waits for food that is so so.

I always enjoy the fresh food at Anamia’s in Southlake, and was surprised to find that the menu had changed. I was pleased to find the brisket taco on the #10 lunch special. It came with the tomatillo chicken enchilada, rice, slaw and black beans. I assumed the rice was going to be Spanish, but it was a white rice... More

My husband and I were spending the night at the Hyatt at DFW and were looking for a good, close-by Mexican restaurant. We took a taxi to Anamia's Southlake. What a great choice! The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. We had to wait about 40 minutes for a table but that wasn't a problem because we had amazing margaritas... More

My family has been going to this fabulous restaurant for many years. In fact it's like seeing family when we visit. The food is beyond wonderful, the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is lively and fun. Since we moved further away, we don't get there as often as we'd like. We even have tried to convince them to open... More

Moved from Texas almost ten years ago and was really Jones'ing for some great Tex Mex -- Anamia's was great -- staff awesome -- also thought the meal was great value for the money. Ask for Manual as your waiter.

Fajita steak, brisket, and queso were excellent. Very crowded on a Friday night, but we were sat fairly quickly. Salsa was good, but not great.
