I found Sushi Zen a little bland and underwhelming. For some reason all the bento box meals were charged the wrong amount and had to be re-done.

Walked in and had a nice vibe to the place. The waiter that took care of me was lost the entire meal, I told him first time and for some recommendations, but didn't seem interested. The Miso Soup seemed to lack flavor I ordered multiple rolls to get a sample and descent.

Bullet points as per my usual reviews: 1) Cheap COLD Saki 2) HUGE list of rolls (with photos) approx 30 3) Impressive list of sashimi and sushi boats/combos (approx 25) 4) Inventive!!! This is one thing that usual mainstream suburb spots FAIL to do, SushiZen actually makes a roll with BANANA!! Hands down the coolest and the most creative set... More

My husband and I love going to Sushi Zen. It's never to crowded and the sushi is always great! If your looking for fresh sushi and a laid back atmosphere, this will be worth going to!

So... deciding dinner with my family is usually a clash of preferences - and sushi is usually the great divider since my son was usually close to hating it. We adventured to this place in Southlake in a small strip mall and were definitely well surprised. The food quality is outstanding, the combination of flavors is well accomplished and the... More

We drive by Sushizen quite frequently and finally decided to give it a go. My family now has a new favorite sushi restaurant - and we have tried them all! It is in a strip center and once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere - not to mention the good music playing! Our sushi was... More

We recently had a birthday lunch with coworkers at Sushizen in Southlake. It is in a shopping strip and I would normally not have tried it on my own. The atmosphere is nice and perfect for a smaller group lunch. We ordered a variety of rolls and they put them all in a giant boat. Again, nice for a fun... More

This has become our regular go to place for sushi. The ahi tuna tower, the salmon sashimi and the vegas roll are always on our list - even though we try other rolls etc every time we go. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the food is reasonable priced. Best of all, a couple of us have allergies and they... More

We moved to Texas from the San Francisco area, so we were pretty spoiled when it comes to sushi. This place is amazing! the fish is fresh and the combinations are very unique and yummy! We love to come here for lunch and sit at the chef's window for quick service. it is a bit pricey, but well worth it... More
