If you are looking for a GREAT sushi restaurant fairly close to the DFW airport, then this is your best bet! It is a hidden gem - a small and intimate restaurant with very earthy decor. Occasionally there is a short wait for a table but it is generally not too crowded. Sushi Zen has an outstanding menu with lots... More

I found Sushi Zen a little bland and underwhelming. For some reason all the bento box meals were charged the wrong amount and had to be re-done.

This is the name of the roll you need to try today. We have been to all the local sushi places and have to say this is one of the best. Consistently great fish interesting rolls. Somewhat tacky menu with photos but guess it keeps them from having to explain each roll. Really fresh Mochi ice cream too.

Being on the road all the time, and eating at many good restaurants, the one thing that stands out and I really appreciate is great service. Everyone seemed to like working at Sushi Zen and our waiter was anxious to explain the numerous specialty rolls they have. He asked what we liked and didn't like an then suggested a few... More

We decided to try this sushi place and was surprised with the quality. we arrived late on a thursday and they told us they would close at 10, no problem we were there for a quick bite, service was very quick and efficient, no errors if we had one closer to home it would become on of our regular spots,... It seems like there is sushi restaurant on every corner in Southlake-so there lots of choices. After trying several places and being unimpressed, we tried Sushi Zen and have made it our permanent pick. Quick service-low key-family friendly-wide seafood selection. It was our son-in-law's pick for his birthday dinner. When our 5 yr old grand son visits he wants to... More

Walked in and had a nice vibe to the place. The waiter that took care of me was lost the entire meal, I told him first time and for some recommendations, but didn't seem interested. The Miso Soup seemed to lack flavor I ordered multiple rolls to get a sample and descent.

Bullet points as per my usual reviews: 1) Cheap COLD Saki 2) HUGE list of rolls (with photos) approx 30 3) Impressive list of sashimi and sushi boats/combos (approx 25) 4) Inventive!!! This is one thing that usual mainstream suburb spots FAIL to do, SushiZen actually makes a roll with BANANA!! Hands down the coolest and the most creative set... More
