Dallas/Fort Worth has great steak houses, and I have been to a number of them, but in my experience, Truluck's at Southlake is la crème de la crème. Beyond nicely marbled, thick and juicy steaks, Truluck's crab toppings are outstanding. Don't forgo it or you are missing a real treat. The Oscar style topping with Bernaise sauce is sheer decadence.... More

Trulcuck's is a wonderful restaurant with great steaks and fresh seafood. It was so good I have been back. They have the most awesome bread and carrot cake. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food.

My husband and I went to Truluck's for our 20th anniversary dinner. It was WONDERFUL! We are no schleps And enjoy fine dining but this was fancy!! We did have to laugh about their fancy filtered water! Southlakes finest. My husband has dined here before but this was my first visit. Our server was very friendly and made us feel... More

It was a beautiful restaurant with superb service. However, if the truth be told it was just too upscale for my taste. I felt they were trying too hard to make the food taste upscale and in the end it was just too much. I ordered the hot house tomato salad, expecting a salad, and instead recieved a giant tomoato... Made reservation for 6 people at 7PM and at about 6:55 found out one of the couples was running almost 1 hour late. Even with the place packed on Saturday night they held our table. Everything was perfect, drinks, appetizers, main course and the deserts are killer. The managing partner Mike McClure is the perfect host. Cannot wait to back.

The food was adequate, but not at all worth the price. The service was good, albeit pretentious. The best part of the meal was the carrot cake -- that might be worth a trip to Truluck's in itself. But for the money, I prefer Del Frisco's.

Half priced specialty drinks and appetizers. Tried the shrimp, the bacon cheeseburger sliders and the crab rangoons and all were delicious. Drinks were also very good. Great atmosphere and service. Expect $7-8 per appetizer and $6 specialty drinks- much more reasonable than regular prices. Can't wait to go back.

Let me say that this is not an indictment of Truluck's in general - I've been to the Addison location many times and enjoyed a terrific meal. But the level of hautiness at the Southlake location is nauseating. After being eyed up and down, my wife and I were sat not 10 feet from the front door and abandoned for... More

We visited the Southlake area for a girls weekend and the hotel recommended Truluck's. After reviewing the menu, we made a reservation and were very excited about our evening. Upon arrival, we were made to wait long after our reservation even though there were lots of open tables. The hostesses were very snobbish and not real friendly. When we finally... More

This is a very noisey, bar scene place. Service was excellent. Prices were on the high side. I ordered a cup on corn chowder wit crab chunks. The first spoonful with crab I found some crab shell. I ordered grilled halibut with rice and green beans. The halibut was grilled perfectly. The sides dishes were good. I would go back,... More
