Coal Vines has a vibrant, social atmosphere and consistently high quality food and service. On Wednesday, when you buy any bottle of wine, you get a free pie! Perfect opportunity to relax a little mid-week, and enjoy good food and wine. Pizza is thin crust, very flavorful, and there are many tasty, specialty style pies. Calamari and zucchini are good... We have been looking for good pizza since we moved to southlake in August. We had heard good things about coal vines. Excellent pizza. Very much New York style. Fantastic!!!

Great Italian food with very good service. Highly recommend as an alternative to all of the Tex-Mex restaurants in the area.

This was a terrific place to have dinner with extended family. The Wednesday night special of any pizza free with any bottle of wine was too good to pass up.

On October 2, 2013, I wrote a review titled 'Coal Vines's Southlake - Terrible Experience'. I found the e-mail address of the owner of Coal Vines (Larry Pardo) and sent him the review. Larry called me within 30 minutes to understand the issue. It turns out that Larry and his wife had just bought the restaurant. The assistant manager that... More

Have been going to Coal Vines Southlake for years. Here recently I have noticed some nice changes occurring . Food even better, service great and New patio! Come to find out there are new owners. You can even see them bussing tables. Very excited about the changes and look forward to what is to come!

On the night of August 6th, 2013, my wife and I went to dinner at Coal Vine's which was one of our favorite restaurants in Southlake, TX. We arrived late at close to 9pm. The waiter that seated us told us that the kitchen closed at 9am. I told the waiter that we could order immediately without seeing a menu.... More

Ate here for first time last night and I am usually hesitant to write a food review based on one visit. However, the pizza is so yummy that it's worth the accolades. Coal Vines is not a huge restaurant but it offers a great atmosphere for a group, a first date, or a family of four with Tweens. The menu... More

We stopped in for a late night bite to eat and were not disappointed. The bruschetta was great, as was the salad I ordered. We don't drink, so I can't comment on the wine selection.

Pizza was great. Good selection. There were 8 in our party. Service was good, even though we had a new waiter. When I paid my bill, with twenties, I accidentally gave the waiter five twenties instead of four. The $80 covered the food, drinks and tip, with some change coming back. I was expecting about $6 change. The waiter left... More
