Food and service is good. Make sure you have some coins in your pocket, the servers never provide exact change when you pay the bill.

The mixed boil with a Mexican martini is always a good choice. They make an excellent shrimp seafood bisque, one of the best I have ever had.

We'd never tried Daddy's before and might have passed it by, but for a friend who ordered their blackened shrimp to-go and then delivered to us directly on the beach! This shrimp was superb, best we've ever had and so my wife and I decided to give them a try by paying them a visit at the restaurant over a... More

Average seafood place. The shrimp and fish were good and so was the calamari. The oysters were small, tough and chewy. Service was good and the manager took the oysters off of the bill and apologized. I will probably not be eating here again.

I lost an entire day of my vacation to horrible stomach cramps and bathroom trips. Horrible experience. Honestly, no one in my party of five was impressed with their food, but at least they didn't end up horribly sick like me. Disgusting. I'll never go back.

I love Cajun food, but this place was the worst I've ever had. Nothing we ordered was cooked correctly. Three hours later, I was very ill. I highly recommend staying away from all the restaurants owned by, and/or associated with this place.

Every time I visit South Padre , I make it a must to visit Daddy's also. My favorite food is the hot(temp)boiled shrimp. Consistently great! Since Daddy's is usually busy, the wait staff is slow to retrip the table as frequently as they should. But they are always friendly and do a good job. all in all-I will continue to... More

Went to Daddy's for a change from eating so much fried seafood. Service was ok, food was ok. A little salty for me and I love salt. Serveral different sauces to choose from. Big place so you are not croweded in. I would eat there again.

I was visiting the valley and some friends brought me here on my last night. The island was very relaxing and it was a great way to end my visit! Good food and good service! We shared the platter- I think it feeds 4-6. It had fried fish, fried shrimp, fried oyster and french fries. It was more that we... More
