This little bar and grill was awesome - food is good, not too expensive and we were right there on the beach. Staff is friendly and the scenery is out of this world. We really enjoyed this place on the beach and highly recommend laying out your beach towels close by this place.

Went here on a Sat night and had a fantastic time. We're looking for something to do and all the reviews of the big name places had bad reviews and seemed over priced. Took a chance with Wanna Wanna and it was a good 1. Specialty drinks were very good and their peel n eat shrimp was AMAZING!!! Their fish... More

OMG! Ceviche!! Boiled shrimp! Jimmy Buffett cover songs by a live musician!! Try the turbo's for a piano colada with a hell of a punch!! If you can grab seats in the hut your day will be complete. Excellent views of the ocean and cool breezes in your face. A must for anyone going to the island!?

Something about the drinks were just not right. Drinks were very strong but had no good flavor. Very disappointing. View was great.

We came here because it was on the beach and within walking distance. Live music and drinks were good, but could not bring ourselves to order food. It seemed very dirty.

We stopped by for drinks and entertainment on a Friday night. The band was very good and had everyone dancing. The drinks were pricy but very strong. We would definitely return.

This place was pretty dumpy. We stopped for a drink mid afternoon and it felt like things were recovering from what I imagine was a big, drunk party the night before. My grapefruit and vodka seemed to be missing the vodka, although we watched it go in the cup. My husband's turbo pina colada (with an extra shot of rum)... More

`On our recent trip to the island, we ate a couple of snacks and had a few drinks at Wanna-Wanna beach bar and grill. We ate there on our last trip to SPI and it was fine then too. I had a pina colada and it was 10 bucks which was a little steep but the food is very reasonably... More

Love this place. Right on the beach. From almost anywhere on the beach you are lounging or playing you can walk to the Wanna Wanna, a South Padre legend. Cold beer, a signature drink (The Wanna Wanna), excellent burgers, and a perfect relaxed setting right on the beach. What more could you want?
