This was where we ate our first night ever on Padre. Everyone will tell you need to try this place. Fresh oysters were great. Shrimp basket good. Just a little dive. Nothing fancy. But that's what we like. Don't agree that it's the best shrimp in the area but enjoyed it.

I always go with a group of friends and spilt the seafood platter absolutely delicious. Best fried shrimp and flounder on the island in my opinion. Also good prices

The shrimp here is outstanding. We found the staff to be attentive and friendly, contrary to what some other reviewers said. Also, we find the shirts to be funny, rather than offensive. Have an open mind and a sense of humor and you'll enjoy Dirty Al's.

This is some of the best seafood on the island at great prices (compared to most). This is also where the locals eat, so that is usually a good sign. Love the blackened shrimp.

This place is Dirty and their food is greasy, and not that great. Only good thing was the French fries, and the fact that they keep buffalo sauce on the tables (which I love on anything.) I will say that the service was good and friendly. Won't eat here again.

Yes, you should. A real coastal dive. Dirty Al's has good food, minimal décor, and fair prices. Take a chance. Roll the dice. You might win big.

The restaurant was dirty, staff was not attentive. Shrimp was chewy and tasted dirty! The chicken was under the heat lamp for too long and was not edible. The only good thing we're the fried pickles/zucchini and the beer!

It would get 5 stars from me in the food alone, if not for the overly vulgar tshirts on all the waitstaff... I get that it's Dirty Al's, but I'm talking over the top, don't want to explain what they mean to my kids type of vulgar.

I've been going to the ''original Dirty Al's restaurant'' near the RV park for 10 years. They hands-down have the best fresh fried shrimp on the island And dirty Al himself is there regularly. During the summer the restaurant is very full and hard to get a table . Food quality is outstanding. Waitstaff is mmmmm not the nicest around... More
