need better atmosphere

We didn't like the noise. Too much commotion going on with several different music places. We were extremely crowded also.

Shrimp was very good but so was the hamburger that pleased my meat loving hubby. The place did not live up to its name, "Dirty", thank goodness.

This place is nothing fancy but the food is really good and the atmosphere of sitting by the docks watching the seagulls and boats is fun. Definitely casual, your food is served in a plastic basket on paper but that just adds to the charm. We were waited on quickly and our server was very friendly and attentive. The fried... More

The outside of the restaurant makes you wonder if you should go in but....you have to! It isn't fancy but you go there for seafood not fancy furniture. The shrimp don't get much fresher! Portions sizes are good too, we took home leftovers. We also bought some of their seasoned bread crumb, had them last night on fish...DELICIOUS!!! Wish I... More

Always go here for peel and eat shrimp. Definitely a unique place. From the motorcycle parking on the sidewalk in front to the sign that says "sorry we are open".

Great fried seafood, very fresh, efficient & friendly staff, great view of Marina; start as a great hole in the wall that grew, but kept that cool feel. Family botanna plate is they way to go, but anything on menu is good.Owner now has several restaurants on island.

Despite wait lines at most hours, this place is worth it for the great seafood, especially the crab fingers and French fries. I'd like a better quality wine, but the food is what counts here!

Not a fan of much food on the island. There is not much atmosphere at Al's. For me the fries are to salty. The salad was not much of a salad. But the shrimp and fish are still excellent. For this reason alone I have stopped and will in the future.

Ate here last year on a previous visit and had a good experience so decided to return this year. This time I had the oysters rockefeller. Nice large plump oysters. My waitress was great. Will return on my next trip.
