surprised the draft beer was cheap, the oysters are large and fresh, and the employees were down home folks who gave me great local info.

Basic seafood shack atmosphere with very well prepared food, especially the shrimp. Would recommend.

Dirty Als is a South Padre Island Staple. This is a must stop and must try place when you visit South Padre Island. My family and I used to dine here regularly because you can always count the place serving good fried seafood; however, over the last few years prices seem to be on the rise. I tend to think... More

I was short in time so I couldn't stay longer, so I decided to order something quick, the waiter suggested fried shrimp basket, which was an excellent choice, there's nothing special here just a shrimp & fries basked, THE FLAVOR makes it great, its just the freshness of the shrimp from the gulf and Dirty Al's seasoning... while waiting for... We stopped here for lunch after a recommendation from the visitor center. We were told this is where the locals eat. The decor was very basic but we had excellent service and good food. It was busy but not crowded so we were seated quickly and had quick service. It was a good place to eat and we would go... More

They're seafood is the best in S.P.I. they're seasoning is very good too. They can also cook your catch, can't get any fresher than that. It's a family friendly place as well.

We ordered the shrimp and fish and I added the onion rings. They were brown in color and sopping wet with grease .The shrimp and fish... More

Yummy fried and grilled shrimp. Also our first "fish neck" courtesy of Dirty Al himself. Great food and hometown atmosphere. We will visit again!

We stopped by Dirty Al's because one of the members of my group swears by it. It was really dark and our waiter seemed a little unconcerned, but it was probably the best fried shrimp I have ever had. If you go expecting a dive bar you won't be disappointed. If you order the shrimp you will be pleasantly surprised!

We always make sure that we hit Dirty Al's for the seafood. The Oysters Rockafella were delish too. Go there before 8pm because they tend to close early.
