Not only is the seafood fresh, but it real tastes good. The prices are within reason and its a good tourist and family place to eat. The atmosphere is friendly and the server are watch and take care of your every need.

When traveling we never eat the same place twice! Well guess what within our 4 day stay on the island we visited a few times! Atmosphere, service, prices, menu choices were great! Food very good! Love the way it is presented in the case for you to see when coming inside. Their oysters are to die for! My hubby had... More

Simple food served in plastic baskets and paper plates. But they had the best fried oysters we've ever had. Very fresh food, good service. very laid back atmosphere.

The food was horrible, the shrimp in the basket tasted like iodine, The shrimp poor boy was made with little mini frozen breaded shrimp like you buy in the grocery store. People had said it was good place to eat, if that is good i would hate to taste what they consider as bad.

Dirty Al's is at the far south end of South Padre, just before the gate to the county park. It's right over the water so you can watch the dolphin cruise (read party boat) ships go in and out. Never adventuresome, Peggy had the chicken taco salad, which was predictable and alright. I found something on the menu I'd never... More

Shrimp to die for!!! Fresh off the boat and they are cleaning them right there as you order it! Don't let the place deter you...it isn't fancy but you will not be disappointed! Good service, good portions and great food! We went for dinner but I would imagine the location, at the warf, is beautiful at sunset!

I loved the boiled New Orleans shrimp. Went back a second time and had 2 pounds for lunch. Ambiance is lacking but food was great.

Very busy eating spot but well worth waiting for. Line up was long but did not take too much time to get a seat at supper time. Good waitress and very helpful. Business is well known and very popular with the locals and tourists alike. Would recommend this eating establishment any time as the food was delicious and it was... More
