Description: Sea Ranch Restaurant has been serving South Padre Island visitors for over 35 years, and has established itself as the island’s premier dining destination. If you haven’t spent an evening at the Sea Ranch Restaurant, you haven’t truly experienced South Padre. Our menu is comprised of local seafood that is caught directly from the Gulf of Mexico, and it changes often based on what is in season. Every item is made with high-quality ingredients, from unbeatably fresh seafood to juicy steaks and hearty pastas. Start your meal off with our Ahi Tuna or Escargot appetizers, or try something a little spicier like our Stuffed Jalapeños. For your main course, pick from one of our countless seafood items including fresh fish, crab legs, shrimp, oysters, lobster and scallops. Our house specialty is the Red Snapper, which has become a customer favorite as well. If you aren’t in the mood for seafood, try one of our delicious grilled steak, chicken or pork dishes. We also have decadent pastas, from chicken or seafood Alfredo to Scott’s Shrimp Scampi served over angel hair pasta. No matter what you are in the mood for, we have a tasty, fresh option for you at Sea Ranch Restaurant.Seafood goes perfectly with wine, so we boast an extensive selection of wines. With over 122 choices ranging from $20 all the way to $500, we have the perfect choice to compliment your meal. If you have an event coming up, consider hosting it at the Sea Ranch. We can accommodate up to 77 people for anything from weddings and receptions to birthdays and meetings.

Although the scenic view and staff were very nice, I thought the food was so, so. Although if you are a big crab fan and are willing to pay market price for some then this is the place to go. I wouldn't suggest Sea RAnch if someone in the group doesn't like seafood, there aren't many other options.

We had dinner at Sea Ranch on Sat. June 11th. We arrived approx. 8PM after a day of travel to SPI-three airline connections, 30 miles driving, and one misplaced suitcase by the airline. We had drinks in the bar while waiting for our table. We were pleasantly surprised when one young cowboy in boots and hat gave up his seat... More

We ate here for my birthday night during a weekend stay on the Island and were surprised at the wonderful service we received! Our waiter was so attentive and professional. The food was fantastic! Our boys even said it was their new favorite restaurant!

We were promptly seated upstairs. Nice view and quiet atmosphere! The food was wonderful - old-school, Gulf seafood. Seafood stuffed peppers, good salad and a shrimp platter (fried, crab stuffed, and grilled) and a great baked potato! The kids are not much for seafood, but one had a wonderful burger and the other had very good chicken tenders. The service... More

If you want a great meal, dine at Sea Ranch. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. Great menu selections for seafood and wine. Service was outstanding. We were able to walk to the restaurant from our lodging. Definitely the best restaurant in South Padre, which is filled with sports bars.

My husband & I celebrated our 28th anniversary at the restaurant. Food & ambiance was great, as well as the food. The staff made it very special by treating us with a fine bottle of champagne. We loved it.

Dining experience was very enjoyable. The food was excellent. Service was even better. The only downside was the cost. For 2 adults, 4 teenagers we got one appetizer, 2 drinks and 6 meals. The total bill with the gratuity they included was $225. The food was good but it was overpriced. Expect to pay.

The food was pretty good, but the prices were very high for what they were serving. Everything made it to the table quickly. The calamari wasn't that great- I don't think it was real, since it tasted and looked like chicken fingers. I've had some really great calamari and this wasn't it! The desserts are great, though! I wouldn't eat... More

Had a party of 5 try everything from Steak/Shrimp combo to Flounder along with Calamari apps. Service was good. The waterview location was nice. Food was just average with above average pricing.

We ate here on a Friday night off season. We arrived at 9pm and the greeter said he didn't know if they were still open. They did seat us and continued to seat tables after us. It turns out that they close at 11. So why the unwelcomming comment? We arrived after dark so the atmosphere was like any nice... More
