What a place!

This is my absolute favorite place to hang, smoke cigars, drink and watch beach volleyball. The live music is always good and they have a decent fireworks show on the weekend. Drinks are a tad weak and over priced, but you're at Clayton's on the beach enjoying the view so pay for an extra shot!

Right on the beach, with huge outside terrace which was just great for a few early evening cocktails after a day on the beach and before heading back to the hotel.

The bar itself leaves a lot to be desired. Most drinks were served in small plastic cups and cost about 10$. However, the bar is huge and featured a large stage for music and ample room for customers. The best part about the bar was its location- it was right on the beach and left a ton of room for... Claytons is full of entertainment, great drinks, and amazing fish tacos. I travel here a few times a year and Claytons is always a stop. The live music and dancing is a great time day or night.

We went for lunch since we had children with us. The food was great and the view was beautiful. But I guess there's a ketchup shortage here. You get 3 packets with your meal and when you aske for extra you get 2. I needed some ketchup. I had kids and they love their ketchup. The drinks were good. And... More

This visit to SPI, we decided to check out Clayton's because of the reviews we'd seen, and because Clayton's is part of the marathon my husband is doing in November. :) What a relaxing place to visit! We spent two evenings sitting on deck, drinking margaritas and enjoying the view of the Gulf. People-watching is a big attraction here, too.... More

I spent a week next door to Claytons. Out of my week of business travel I ate here twice for dinner but spent every evening here just to relax and woosha after a long day at work. The band was great . I wish I had my children with me to enjoy the bounce house that was located on the... More

We took our kids ages 4 and 9 to Claytons on Friday night to see the fireworks and it was the ideal spot! We even got there a little late, but there was plenty of seating for us and a little stair case leading to the beach at night that had lights on for a volleyball game. After the show... More

So, I will tell you that the location rocks! Loved it...on the beach, great big outdoor porch. Totally awesome. What kind of bummed me out was that our $11 Margarita was a bit thin on the alcohol. Honestly, I think we needed another shot to make it a drink worth writing home about.
