We went on a Tuesday night. My wife had the special, Shimp Scampi! They should have called it Shrimp 'Skimpi'!!! Only 5 small shrimp on very bland pasta. I had the 10 once Sirloin which was okay. We both had the salad bar, which was the saddest salad bar we have ever seen!!! The only highlight was the live music,... More

Had to request a drink menu. Buffet looked like it had been out a while with no protection. Soup was fair, other items ok. Cute atmosphere and has potential but probably won't go back.

I visited this place a couple of days ago just to check something different out. The exterior looked inviting and very "beachy looking" and on the inside not too bad either. The issues started with the ordering process. I waited several minutes before anyone acknowledged me. And, when someone finally approached me they proceeded to take my drink order. I... More

I was trepidatious about coming here after reading some pretty bad reviews, but knew there was live music every night, so braved it out, and now wonder why I was worried. Granted, I had a burger and fries, but the salad bar looked pretty standard, the service was exactly right. I even loved the rocking deck chairs that let me... More

Boyfriend and I's first vacation and first night in Padre. The restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel so we just decided to go there. The place was pretty empty when we arrived and we were seated immediately. Our waiter came and introduced himself and told us he was from the Czech Republic. We thought wow. interesting...NO... He could... More

Food was average, but reasonably priced. Service was excellent. If you go here, try one of their smoking margaritas!

We arrived early and were seated outside. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer. We then all ordered our main course. The waiter said it would be about fifteen minutes. Fifteen minutes became twenty. Then thirty. Then forty... Then fifty. We kept getting more random updates on our food. It will be three minutes more..... Ten minutes passed and it... More

We found this restaurant on our last night on the island. I wish we had eaten there earlier! The food was fantastic (I had the fish tacos and I LOVED them! My husband had a steak and he was very pleased also). Our waitress was very pleasant. She took the time to actually talk to us for a few minutes,... More

We enjoyed the food here. The place has a really cool atmosphere with tiki heads and fun lighting. Good food specials. They also have a nice salad bar. Good service and friendly staff.

Padre Rita's was within walking distance of our hotel so we wanted to try it. We ordered chicken enchiladas and was very disappointed, it was bland and kind of dry. My strawberry margarita was just ok, it wasn't "smokin hot" as they advertise. The service was good & friendly staff and the chocolate cake was delicious.
