Every table in this place has great views of the water. We ate there for breakfast and lunch and every meal was great. The coconut shrimp with the coconut tartar sauce is a definite success. They have an extended happy hour with reasonable priced drinks and munchies. They have the best tasting coffee I have had in a long time.... More

The longest happy hour I've ever seen!!! Great menu lots of choices. We had nachos at happy hour and they topped my list. After looking over the menu, we decided to try breakfast the next morning. Huervos A La Mex, the same great view, pleasant service and yum.

While camping at the KOA on South Padre Island, we heard that Pier 19 was very good, so we tried a Sunday dinner.  Since it was January, we were seated right away and noticed that the restaurant was quite full.   We ordered some drinks and then ordered the small Sampler Platter (fish, scallops and shrimp) with fries and the... Great service, even better food and better than average drinks. Add in a view, and what more could you want? Good prices? You got it!

Went for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. While eating we spotted 6 dolphins swimming pretty close to our window. Took the kids back the next morning and saw nothing, darn! The server, who was great, said they come between 9:30 and 11:00 most mornings. What I like about this restaurant is you can stop by and have a drink on the... More

We loved everything but the hush puppies. Get ready for LARGE portions. You could split something. The onion rings are HUGE.

We loved Pier 19. We were at south padre Island for 4 nights and we had breakfast there, and dinner twice. The drinks, the views and coconut shrimp were wonderful!! They also have a little gift shop with some great jewelry!

Sunny or gray day it doesn't matter. The food is always great, the staff is friendly, and the view is outstanding. I had the grouper with fresh veggies, it was very colorful and tasty. My husband had the Philly sandwich with chicken tortilla soup it also was very good. The pirate ship stopped by and put on a show and... More

I really like Pier 19. The restaurant sits out over the water on the Bay side along the Ship Chanel so you can watch ships come in, dolphins and the Pirate Boat. Get there early if you want a seat. It's a very popular place here on S. Padre Island. They have a nice selection of appetizers and entrees. They're... More

We stumbled onto this restaurant when checking out the KOA. It was mid afternoon on a weekday. They had a grouper daily special that was nicely grilled for $8. Did a little waterfowl watching while we waited. Good food for good value and nice view. What's not to like?
