The restaurant has a nice pier

My family and I stayed at the KOA camp ground where the Pier 19 restaurant is located. We didn't want to eat we just wanted a drink and to hang out on the Pier. I usually don't give bad reviews but the wait staff was kind of rude. The drinks were not worth the money and half of the Pier... read more

We travel the gulf coast from Florida to the tip of Texas and go down to SPI at least once or twice a year. We have settled in our favorite restaurants at SPI - Gabriellas, Daddy's and Pier 19. Gabriella's and Daddy's are still good but for full island flavor - from the friendly staff to the varied and delicious... More

Five ladies in our family were celebrating birthdays. The great food, served by Chris, and their fabulous cinnamon bun for dessert were awesome.

The food was great. The service was excellent. Our waiter, Chris, was new and we tried to not overwhelm him - five women celebrating their birthdays together. The extra special part was the huge cinnamon bun they surprised us with, accompanied by a whole restaurant participation Happy Birthday song. Would highly recommend visiting them if you are in South Padre.

When we looked up Pier 19, I just assumed there would be outdoor seating, which there wasn't. That being said, no matter where you sat in the restaurant you did get a great view. The food was just ok. It was very, heavily seasoned. The prices were okay.

Arrived at the condo later than expected and did not feel like cooking so we looked over the local restaurant listings and settled on Pier 19. This restaurant is located on a long pier and has covered open air dining areas with a great view of the causeway and Laguna Madre. Cool breezes and casual atmosphere were perfect. Overall we... This is a great place to sample shrimp. We had Shrimp Diablo and Seafood Pasta and both were excellent!! After dinner we strolled on the pier and enjoyed the fresh air.

We stayed at the KOA next to this restaurant, first day we had lunch and had the burger which was excellent and the fries we very good. We felt the price was very reasonable and got 10% off with our KOA card. Returned the next morning and had breakfast . Had the veggie omelet with home fries, excellent. The omelet... More

great blackened whole flounder, and the drinks and wine were never slow coming. And the wait staff were really on top of everything, for the whole table of fourteen people. If you are on SPI come too pier 19 for some really good food. You wont be diaappointrd.

We had the best food and service tonight. They even prepared our favorite, a crab cake poor boy sandwich, even though it wasn't on the menu 👍👍. They tried so hard to make sure our night was perfect. Thanks guys, you made our daughters's 3rd bday a night to remember!!!! Can't wait to return
