Unfortunately, we waited until our last day on the island to go here. The food was AMAZING! Only wished we would have gone before the end of our stay! Fresh guacamole was best on the island!

Mostly Mexican Food on the menu which is a little deceiving given it's name and location. Nice atmosphere though just not what we thought when entering.

Today is a cold and rainy day on the South Padre, so we decided to explore the Island. We came upon Parrot Eyes and decided to stop in for some lunch. Very surprised to find a complete menu. Food was great for all ages. Our crew is 11,14,17,22,41 & 44! I totally recommend this place!

Went with my husband and 4 kids. The atmosphere was fun, the service was quick and the waitress was upbeat. My kids enjoyed talking to the parrots out on the deck. My husband and I both ordered the combo basket with fish, shrimp, and a crab cake. His was grilled, mine was fried. The fish in both of our meals... More

Our waitress was fun and friendly . We started off with a couple dozen oysters on the half shell, they were on special for 6$ a dozen, can't beat that! Fish tacos were excellent and so was the chicken fried chicken.

Awesome variety of cooking our catch, Fish taco's, Enchiladas, Blackened, Grilled etc etc. Great atmosphere and island style vibe. An easy place to get stuck in right on the bay!!

They have a nice menu and will prepare for your dinner the fish you caught. You can eat inside or out. There are parrots in cages. The parrots like for you to feed them french fries

Best ever blackened fish tacos! We ate here twice on our vacation friendly staff and even cooked up our fresh catch from our chartered fishing trip with Captain Jim Galloway. Can't wait to go back to South Padre!

This used to be a favorite for getting excellent shrimp but we will not be back. The food was very average and it does not justify the price. The service sucked big time. We went for a Saturday afternoon lunch and ordered a fish and shrimp basket. It was $10.95. One of us had fries and one had cole slaw.... More

We visited Parrott Eyes for lunch after having rented paddle boards and kayaks from their water sports shop yesterday. The staff handling the water sports rentals were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating with views of the bay. The menu had a good number of choices and we decided on fajitas and fish tacos.... More
