We took 7 kids here and stayed for hours! Bananna boat was great for all the kids aged 7-16. Staff was awesome! Did I mention the staff was awesome? We rented Jet skis and its been a long time since I have been on . I was a little nervous. The staff guy comes out with you and sits way... More

We went on a family fishing trip in SPI and, upon the advice of our guide, brought our catch to Parrot Eyes. Our waiter, Aaron, was super friendly and patient with our cluelessness about how this all worked. My husband and two teens said the fish was the best they've eaten. We ended up with some fried, some grilled and... More

I went with my family in hopes of trying fresh tasting seafood but instead ended up with average to terrible food. They brought out a hot beer and then the waitress told us that the bartender didn't want to take it off the tab. Eventually she got it fixed, but the way she did it was extremely unprofessional, fix the... More

Visited with our family of 5 and left very disappointed. The crab cakes were very good but that was where it ended. The shrimp basket was overpriced for 6 battered shrimp. Almost reminded us of Summer Rental and the Barnacle. We started to wonder if they were pulling seafood t.v. dinners out of the back and cooking them up. The... More

Like many places on South Padre, this joint offers up a variety of fried foods. Nothing special about it at all. Fries were below average and scarce. Had the lunch special on the fried shrimp and the wife had the lunch special fried fish. Neither was above average. Not bad, just not anything to set it apart from any other... More

The food was really good, the service was quick. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about Island events. They are "pet friendly", allowing us to have our canine family member with us on the patio. The parrots they have on the patio are beautiful to look at and the kids try to get them to talk (the do talk quite... More

We had visited Parrot Eyes for breakfast on our visit 4 years ago and recalled a very enjoyable experience. We decide to visit for lunch this time. We were sadly disappointed. Service was a little off, wait staff seemed very disorganized, orders were mixed up and when correct orders were brought out they tasted "so-so". We expected a lot more... More

Great place and right price for family lunch. Quick service and good food. The kids wanted to eat there again. Sit on the patio, enjoy the breeze and the view. Recommend the blackened fish tacos with Spanish rice.

Drove past their location and noticed their sign advertised a cajun boil that night and immediatly got excited. I looked up their number and called in to get the details, but alas no answer. Figured it would all be good, sold the entire fam on going there for dinner. Got to the table only to be told there was no... More
