Casual dining, good food, and right on the water!

Stopped in for a snack, on Valentines Day, just before the dinner rush. We were lucky enough to snag a table on the lower deck, that wasn't reserved. Had a few beer, ordered the Shrimp Veracruz, and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, and the views. Shrimp appy was very tasty, and came with chips. The... read more

We went for lunch with friends today to Palm Street Pier Restaurant and Bar today and had a good time as well as a great lunch. We have been here in the past and always make it at least once during our stay in Texas. It is very laid back but the food is always good and the margaritas cold..... More

I love dining outside and enjoying great food, this place has both. This is a casual restaurant with a great view of the bay. The picnic tables sit a little higher so you can see the water better. I’ve had the shrimp skewers the last two times I was there and they’re wonderful. The grilled zucchini and squash is a... More

Palm Street Pier was our favourite restaurant when we visited SPI in 2013. We're back for another visit to the island, and went to Palm Street Pier again. Everything was the same as before - same great menu; same great happy hour drinks; same glorious sunset; even some of the same friendly staff. Looks like it will be our favourite... More

My companion and I ate lunch at the Palm Street Pier on our recent day trip to South Padre. I had read reviews about many of the restaurants and was prepared for the abundance of fried fish offerings. We ordered a 1/2 lb of peel and eat shrimp as an appetizer and it was quite tasty. After quizzing the waitress... More

Have been here tons of times over the past couple years. We like to think of it as our "spot". Staff and atmosphere is awesome and the food is just great! Fish tacos and the seafood chowder is the best.

We were staying at a condo on the beach and could walk to the Palm's for an afternoon cocktail. Also, had lunch there our first day on SPI. Excellent food.

We got married on SPI on 12/13/14 and had a small gathering of 12 afterwards at Palm Street Pier. The atmosphere is relaxed, which is exactly what we wanted. The manager, Jaime and his staff were all very friendly and the service was very good. We ordered a variety of munchies from the menu and everything was great! There was... More

My husband and I enjoy Palm Street Pier. You have the option of sitting right next to the water or under cover in the open air. What could possibly be more enjoyable. This has long been one of our favorite places and have taken family there for the real taste of Island living. We especially enjoy their hamburgers fixed just... More
