First I have to say I was sold immediately because we got there at sunset and the view was breathtaking, secondly sold because a blue heron flew right over our heads and landed on the roof of the restaurant *we obviously were on the outside deck. I know these things don't matter to many but if that's your thing then... More

Ate at the Palm Street Pier as soon as we arrived on the Island, one of our favorite places to eat . I had grilled fish Tacos, hubby had shrimp skewers, great food on the bay. Recommend this place

Ambiance - 4 Food - 3 Service - 4 Cost - 2 Dog friendly - yes Ambiance was casual and fun - just what you'd expect from a bat on a pier. I had the fried oysters with a side of grilled seasonal vegetables and it was excellent. My husband had the daily special of Captain Morgan shrimp and fries.... More

Had the lunch special of the day - Fried Shrimp Basket - it was a very large portion. They give you everything to mix your own cocktail sauce. The coleslaw was texas style which is the only way I like it. Added some cold beer and it was a great lunch on the patio.

If you go to SPI this is another must for the nachos, a perfect sunset view and good live entertainment. We split a 1/2 order of nachos, with the grilled shrimp and chicken on the side. Dee-lish especially with the happy hour bloody Mary's. Low clouds obscured the sunset but the later colors shone through. Excellent guitarist/vocalist, Taylor Carpenter, played... More

Thanks to our server Noelia and the bartender for whipping up a Mexican Martini for me! It was perfection. The food was better than I expected. If you are dieting, try the grilled zucchini & squash instead of fries. The shrimp tacos were very tasty. We had a great time and the views of the bay were spectacular.

I should say I'm not a fan of bar food but this was pretty nice. I had the salmon and grilled veggies which was good. The portion size was just right and seasoning OK. This is a bar so don't expect too much fine dining. The atmosphere is great and the band was particularly good that night. Drinks of any... More
