Friendly staff here no matter who we saw. Very friendly and welcoming. Came for breakfast and not complaints. Hot homecooked food. Friendly staff. Better than average cracker barrell.

I was craving meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans, so I tried Cracker Barrel for the first time. Service: My waitress had her mind on something else as I heard her talking to people in the kitchen. It seems some customers took off without paying and she was in an uproar. Service was slow to nonexistent after she served my... More

We told our son what a great place to eat Cracker Barrel is. We were seated right away, and then some people sat behind us about 5 minutes later. Their order was taken first, and ours was taken much later, almost when their food was coming out. When our food arrived, the order was correct, but everything was cold. We... More

Bacon was nearly raw, grits runny, biscuits cold, could not even sling cream gravy (?) off my spoon, had to spread it with my knife. Eggs so so. Won't be going back.

We waited soooooooo long for our food and when they brought it, most of it was room temperature. And they got our order wrong. My wife had the bacon sandwich from the lunch menu and mysteriously they could not serve lunch at that time. Still trying to figure that out...the sandwich looked like it had been laid on a wet... The staff was quick and attentive during lunch rush. Breakfast items were cooked just right. Easy to find along the freeway.

Took a party of 5 to the Cracker Barrel in Sherman Texas on a Saturday nite around 7pm. We were seated quickly and was then greeted by our waitress. We have eaten here many times over the years but this particular nite the food was not the same taste as it was in the past ,so we were a little... More

Cracker Barrell is sort of a cult, tourist, grandma, after church restaurant. Their claim to fame is home cooking and it is actually pretty good. Some of their items I love and some I like the version better at Cotton Patch or Black Eyed Pea, but all in all this is a great family place.

Just stopped at this location for an early lunch today, and it was not worth the trip. My family waited a long time to get our food, had long waits in between getting our refills for our drinks, and the server had very poor communications and customer service skills. Instead of politely saying here is your son's order sir would... More
