We recently went to City Limits for dinner and an adult beverage with our daughter and her boyfriend. The food was good, the beer was cold, and the waitress very friendly. This a great spot to kickback.

Where can you go where everybody knows your name? Cheers? Wrong!!!! CITY LIMITS IN SHERMAN, TEXAS!!!! This amazing family owned and ran restaurant is the best place to go for great food and fun. There are so many corp restaurants around, so it is very refreshing to go somewhere that makes you feel at home and you can order fresh... More

Great place to meet up with friends! It does get a little loud in the evenings/weekends. They have awesome burgers and tacos! Love their appetizers, too. Try the quesadillas from their "secret" menu...

Great place to meet up with friends, have a drink or two and eat a great meal. The quesadillas that aren't on the menu are absolutely the best I've ever had!

Fantastic choice for the entire family. Impeccable service and fun atmosphere. It's the right choice for lunch, dinner or drinks on the patio.

I was going to bypass from writing a review on City Limits since we're locals but the truth is this is a very good place to get good food & drinks and my wife and I really think this is a good place. Seat yourself, Smoking & non-smoking, sports on the TV's, laid back vibe and always playing great music.... More

You could go to someplace named a "roadhouse" by the marketing team up in New Jersey, or you can go to the real thing! City Limits is the kind of place I remember growing up in Texas - the only thing they lack is a shuffleboard machine and sticky floors. The food here is real roadhouse food - chili, enchiladas... Great burgers, chicken strips and chicken fried steaks. Be sure and get the fried jalapeno strips to start. Cold beer, great food and laid back atmosphere. Beats the daylights out of the chain restaurants.

Chicken Fried Steak, burgers and fries, and homemade chicken noodle soup (even the noodles are homemade): this is an authentic experience of Texas homestyle cuisine. The fried pickles were the biggest surprise: we ordered 1/4 of an order, thinking it was just a tasting experience and not something we would more than a few bites of. Surprise- these were addictive... More
