I order the same thing everytime I go. #8 It's always good my family has been going since it was located on kingsbury st. It's a famiky and Seguin tradition!
This place has been in Seguin for more than 60 years. It has moved from a primitive small building in the 50's to a very impressive place today. The food has always been the best Mexican food I've ever tasted. When I moved from Seguin I got withdrawls from not being able to eat it.
I worked for the de la garzas..o my worst mistake of my life..first of all jon is very racial against blacks, if he sees that he has to wait on african americans or mexican americans he will give the worst service, and his mom or dad will still allow him to give the service. The mom aka cece, wow that... More
I do not understand why people ever go to El Ranchito. The decor is nice, it is clean, and the staff and Margaritas are very good. But the food is HORRIBLE. Even the salsa served with chips - how hard is it to make a good salsa? Theirs is so oniony with no other flavor. Just onion and tomato. Tired... More
My parents went on their first date at the original El Ranchito location. People wondered if they would make it when they went upscale into their new location years ago. Of course, they made it. They make the best Tex-Mex in Texas. Most of the time when I return to something that I had great memories of as a child,... More
Best Tex Mex in the Seguin,New Braunfela area. Great enchiladas, clalups, guacamole. Large menu. Located conveniently on Bypass 123.
If you ask me, this place is for people who think this is real Mexican or even real tex-mex. Enchilada sauce taste just like out of the can and same for tortillas out of the bag. The only thing I enjoyed were the chips and salsa.
We eat here several times per month. Love the Chili Relenos and the Margaritas. The service is always great!
We've had lunch here three times traveling through town, and it always has been a pleasant experience. The menu has plenty of variety, the prices are good, the service has always been very attentive. It's very clean, including the restrooms, and has a nice atmosphere. It's our go-to lunch place in Seguin.
I see reviews of 5 stars for this place. Obviously their benchmark is yuppie hipster Mexican restaurants. Myself, I prefer restaurants that serve authentic barrio style Mexican food. The kind of place where most of the clientele are Hispanic and sometimes you have to resort to your 5th grade Spanish to get your order in. This stuff was OK. But... More
