Perfection!

The salsa tasted just like homemade salsa and was by far the best tasting salsa I have had. Mike the server was great and did an excellent job. The management will make what you want as well in order to cater to your specific taste or wants. Portions are quite large too. They do not skimp on the... read more

My family and I used to come here quite a bit. Then after one stop it seemed that the food changed. Instead of using cheddar in a taco, or to smother an enchilada, queso was used. It almost tasted like what I could have made at home out of Velveeta and Rotel. The chicken in the enchilada was like canned... More

I had New York Strip Steak instead of Mexican because that was their luncheon special. Service was excellent. The food was great.

We stop here for a meal and rest traveling back from Junction to Houston at least once a month. Food is better than average for sure. The service is usually great. Nice place The SALSA needs to be replaced. Too watery, lacking of Tex Mex flavor.in my opinion, though my wife likes it.... Our waitress was TOPS...and the food came... More

Ordered chicken fried steak which in Texas usually fills a plate. This one was like a squashed meatball, TINY. They had NO veggies and when I asked what was in their salad besides lettuce and tomato it was cheese. On a 40 degree day I don't want ice, waiter was puzzled. Asked for hot water to go and he said... More

The oldest Mexican Restaurant in Seguin. It's only competition in Seguin dating back to the late 50's was El Apache Restaurant (now defunct). El Ranchito moved to Hiway Alternate 90 in the late Sixties where the basement featured a full service bar and local bands playing everything from Country to Funk to Tejano (the owner Danny de la Garza is... This place has been in Seguin for more than 60 years. It has moved from a primitive small building in the 50's to a very impressive place today. The food has always been the best Mexican food I've ever tasted. When I moved from Seguin I got withdrawls from not being able to eat it.

I worked for the de la garzas..o my worst mistake of my life..first of all jon is very racial against blacks, if he sees that he has to wait on african americans or mexican americans he will give the worst service, and his mom or dad will still allow him to give the service. The mom aka cece, wow that... More

I do not understand why people ever go to El Ranchito. The decor is nice, it is clean, and the staff and Margaritas are very good. But the food is HORRIBLE. Even the salsa served with chips - how hard is it to make a good salsa? Theirs is so oniony with no other flavor. Just onion and tomato. Tired... More
