Super Fresh Super Good Salsa

Ok seriously some of the best fresh salsa I've eaten. It was a bit spicy however just like I like it. Chips were good too. I had crispy tacos. The corn taco shell was small but flaky. You only get two. The rice was light and moist. Frijoles were seasoned just right. I would recommend this... read more

First ate there 10 years ago and the food was excellent, but in the last 6 months the chips&salsa have been changed to a cheaper imitation and the food has become mediocre,at best. Going to find a new place for Tex-Mex in Seguin.

The locals love El Ranchito, but frankly, the last time I ate there I thought the food quality had slipped a bit, and the prices were a little high for what you get. Still, it isn't bad. Service is good and the restaurant is quite nice, decor-wise. A good place to go for large groups...there are rooms that can be... More

Nice spot, looks like a big city restaurant walking in. My bride liked her combo plate, enchilada & a taco and not being to hungry I had a bowl of tortilla soup. It was all fine, we liked the salsa and dumped it on most everything. Speaking of my bride she is in a wheelchair, it was not hard getting... More

A family-owned restaurant that recently celebrated its 75th anniversary. That sums it up. You don't stay open 75 years without being consistently good.

Went here strictly based upon TripAdvisor reviews, as the number 2 restaurant (Su Casa) in all of Seguin did not have a single car in the parking lot, either closed or food was not to be had. This restaurant had several cars parked, as the front parking lot was 2/3 full, so I decided to stay. I was seated in... More

The consistency of quality Mexican food absolutely has me impressed. El Ranchito has been "my" place since the 1960's and my favorite dish No. 17 on the menu is still as good as it always was. The chips are fresh, the salsa spicy and the margaritas unforgettable.

Been eating here mywhole life, whenever I visit Seguin. It is good, solid TexMex. It can get crowded, but it's a big place. The owners are very nice.

My husband and I have been to this eatery half a dozen times in the recent past, and really enjoyed the fresh food and homemade tortillas. On Saturday, a friend and I went for lunch and I had my usual beef fajita salad, she had a taco salad. The beef fajita meat was not nearly as tender as in the... More
