Good Inexpensive Breakfast

Due to the positive reviews on Tripadvisor, we gave this place a try for breakfast. My wife had an omelet with the fixings and I had the french toast, eggs and sausage. We were both very please with the quality of the food and the prices were very reasonable. Based on breakfast, we will probably... read more

friendly service, enormous ice tea and soft drinks, home made tortillas, delicious Mexican food, excellent service, spotless, packed with locals, a very good sign. If in a hurry to get back on road, they are speedy, and it is just off the highway from Houston to San Antonio.. Not fancy but very reasonable and attractive

I wanted to have breakfast in a local favorite between San Antonio and Houston. Great spot. Food and service were great. You can't go wrong with this type of place.

Stopped in for breakfast and wish I could come back for lunch. Just outstanding food and everything is made fresh including the tortillas. Only open for dinner on Friday nights.

The chips and salsa are awesome. The food was good but can out a little slow. Sit outside if you want quite. The waitress was nice.

Our waitress, Kim, set the atmosphere for our meal with her bright and cheerful demeanor. The service was reasonably quick and the quality of the food was high. We are natives to South Texas and consequently have had a lifetime of TexMex food and rate this among the very best.

My SO and I stopped here while road tripping to the coast. If I can't get to see reviews before stopping at a restaurant I use my old stand-by method: Go where all the cars are (esp in small towns because the locals have tried all the restaurants and know which ones are good). Their chips were thick, which I... More

lunch on Sunday. They were busy but service was prompt. Barbacoa taco was so-so. Chicken fajita was pretty bland. The hot sauce was excellant. Gave the food flavor.
