My friends brought me here because I was missing having authentic Mexican food since I moved to Dallas. It's a humble place to look at but at soon as we walked in we were greeted and told we could sit anywhere we liked. Our server was quick to get us menus, drinks, chips and salsa and was very nice. The... More

If you are looking for a local non-chain restaurant, this is it. Nothing fancy and interior has probably not been updated in 20 years, but they have good Mexican food.

Went in just after 1 pm. Took over 10 minutes to get chips and a menu. Very small inside area. Large outdoor covered patio area. Waitress apologized and said she got stuck at the cash register. She was hustling but could not keep up. Chips were greasy. Salsa ordinary, mostly tomato sauce. Tea was fresh and good. Large glass and... More

My wife and I met our friends for lunch at La Pasadita. The chips and salsa are screaming good. The food is worth every cent. La Pasadita is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. We enjoyed three baskets of homemade tortilla chips and perfectly spiced salsa before enjoying the green enchiladas and nachos...wonderful.

Owned and operated by the owner, Francisco. He hand makes every thing from the chips, salsa down to the ice tea. Nothing processed or frozen. Only white meat for the chicken dishes and fresh beans for the barrochos. The sauces are his own creations and the soups in the winter months are his special entrée for his customers. The love... To our family it's 'Frank's" the owner who makes you feel like family. We've been eating here for at least 17 years and even had our son's rehearsal dinner here. If you want a nice sampling with good size portions get the Pasadita Deluxe, my husband's favorite. My favorite is chicken entomatados. Authentic and delicious.

This is a really small restaurant (maybe 8 tables inside + a covered/enclosed patio). The menu is small, but the food is really delicious. The salsa is really good. My favorite is the flautas. Try them, you will not be disappointed.

We have patronized this place for years and we always return. The food is absolutely delish. Don't miss the puffy tacos and the shrimp enchiladas. Just wish they had real margaritas.

La Pasa Dita has been around for 20+ years that I have been eating there, and I can tell you from lots of experience eating there that Francisco and his two sons (Frank and Marco, who don't work there much these days), really made its reputation. The food is authentic Mexican, but more Mexican than Tex-Mex, but plenty of the... More
