This was the little hole in the wall restaurant and we almost didn't go in. So glad we did. The food was incredibably good.

This is a really small restaurant (maybe 8 tables inside + a covered/enclosed patio). The menu is small, but the food is really delicious. The salsa is really good. My favorite is the flautas. Try them, you will not be disappointed.

We have patronized this place for years and we always return. The food is absolutely delish. Don't miss the puffy tacos and the shrimp enchiladas. Just wish they had real margaritas.

La Pasa Dita has been around for 20+ years that I have been eating there, and I can tell you from lots of experience eating there that Francisco and his two sons (Frank and Marco, who don't work there much these days), really made its reputation. The food is authentic Mexican, but more Mexican than Tex-Mex, but plenty of the... More

The food is good. The menu is not extensive like most of San Antonio's Mexican restaurants. The prices are also higher than normal. My chips were stale, but they were the thick chips that I like best when they are fresh. If you are willing to pay a little higher price you will get good good. Since I live here... More

I think the fajitas taste even better at home. We have done it twice now. No need to dress up or down.

Vast amount of some of the best Tex-Mex I have eaten. We will be stopping here each time we return from San Antonio.

Passed this place on the way to Austin a hundred times and finally decided to try it. Funky little dining room that has an old feel (and smell) to it and rightly so. This place has been here for at least 40 years. You would think they have to be doing something right to have been here that long. Well,... More

Can't rave enough about the food and service!!! The portion sizes of guacamole & cheese blew us away! The prices were very reasonable too!! We were so stuffed after eatting that we cancelled our plans for the evening and went back to the hotel and crashed!!

I have frequented this family run restaurant over many years and have always found the food dlightful. The atmosphere is homey and slightly cramped for room but the food more than makes up for it. Try the ensalabada (?) which is somewhat like a Mexican stir fry with lots of vegetables.
