Ice cream in west Texas!!

Good safe food and the inside is clean. They serve Mexican food, burgers, sandwiches and of course Ice Cream. Ed the owner is a great guy and fun to chat with.

This is a busy place when open, the food is hot and excellent. I've never been disappointed in any meal I have had there.

The place was packed for lunch, mostly with locals, but with some world-travelers and state troopers mixed in. It could have made a scene in a movie featuring an American small, desert cafe. Believe it or not, I had my first chicken-fried steak here. Although maybe not on my heart-healthy diet, it was very good. The portion was large enough... More

The place isn't fancy, but the quality of their Mexican food is second to none. I have eaten here several times in recent years and have always had good food and service.

The food was ok so was the prices. The staff was friendly. This cafe must be ok as the room at the time had state troops and county sheriff's for dinner.

The chick waiting tables was a blatant flirt trying to get a bigger tip, the girl I saw in the kitchen just looked really dirty. The food was very mediocre and nothing special at all. The onion rings were way undercooked I was scared to send them back of fear of getting them spat on. I will go there when... More

Not too many choices. We order the burrito, burger & quesadilla. The food is just ok, don't expect anything more. We take away the food so can't really say much about the service, although they let me know beforehand that I should expect 20 minutes for the food to be ready, allowing us to check in first before coming back... we ordered beef enchiladas. The dish came with wonderful Spanish rice, refried beans and salad. The owner served us as the waitress was not there. Food was great. Some local ladies where having super chatting up a Truck Driver that was passing through. Great place to grab a quick meal.
