Best in town!!

Armenta's is our go to Mexican food in SA. The salsa is spicy and addicting. Average service, there are usually a couple wait staff taking care of the entire dinning room. The food is fantastic but the beer is pricey (avg. $4 per bottle).

Remembered this place from a previous visit, and recommended it to my co-workers while on a business trip. We arrived before the dinner rush, found a table and were promptly waited on. The Guiso was a bit salty, as were the Fajitas one co-worker ordered, while another had Chalupas which she said were perfect. The service was excellent, and I... More

A little place, doesn't look like much, but it's prefect! The food is outstanding. Period. Not Tex-Mex (which, for me, is terrible), but not completely authentic, but somewhere leaning closer to authentic. Hands down, awesome food, and awesome service (from Sarah). They were out if the chili rellano, which I desperately wanted, but enchiladas that I ate (still eating), Armenta's... More

We ate at Armenta's while traveling through San Angelo. Our intention was to try Paisano's right up the street but, unable to find a parking place there, we settled on Armenta's instead. So glad we did! The food is fantastic and they serve great, HOT salsa and delish tres leches cake. Service was fast and friendly, and we were in... More

Armenta's always has great food with decent prices. Have been with friends and haven't been disappointed. Sometimes hard to get a table in the small space.

You know its a good restaurant when you pull up and get the last spot in the lot. Went for lunch and place was packed inside and out. We lucked out and table cleared so we didn't have to wait. The salsa was spicy, not too hot just enough to make your nose run and you keep digging in. We... More

I've read a bunch of good reviews so I expected more. It was busy when we went so people definitely enjoy it. It wasn't bad...just not the best we've ever had.

It wasn't horrible, but not great either. Their chips are too thick and hard. Food didn't have much flavor. Don't know if their A/C was broken or what, but it was hot last time we ate here. Service was slow. Wasn't impressed.

Went for lunch with the whole family. Everyone loved it. Service is OK, but don't let that deter you from their delicious plates. I had the Carne Asada and it was amazing!! The kids loved their soft tacos and my husband really enjoyed his steak burritos. One of our favorite places in San Angelo. Can't wait to come back!

We went to Armenta's on the recommendation of a friend and overall it was good. The prices were reasonable for the portions you received. The service was attentive and our server made sure we were well taken care of keeping our glasses topped off. The food was decent. It is TexMex and in most cases, after a while it is... More
