Amazing

You know its a good restaurant when you pull up and get the last spot in the lot. Went for lunch and place was packed inside and out. We lucked out and table cleared so we didn't have to wait. The salsa was spicy, not too hot just enough to make your nose run and you keep digging in. We... read more

I've read a bunch of good reviews so I expected more. It was busy when we went so people definitely enjoy it. It wasn't bad...just not the best we've ever had.

It wasn't horrible, but not great either. Their chips are too thick and hard. Food didn't have much flavor. Don't know if their A/C was broken or what, but it was hot last time we ate here. Service was slow. Wasn't impressed.

Went for lunch with the whole family. Everyone loved it. Service is OK, but don't let that deter you from their delicious plates. I had the Carne Asada and it was amazing!! The kids loved their soft tacos and my husband really enjoyed his steak burritos. One of our favorite places in San Angelo. Can't wait to come back!

We went to Armenta's on the recommendation of a friend and overall it was good. The prices were reasonable for the portions you received. The service was attentive and our server made sure we were well taken care of keeping our glasses topped off. The food was decent. It is TexMex and in most cases, after a while it is... More

I had the Color Enchilada plate. One sour cream chicken, one red cheese, and one green beef. They were terrific. The rice was great too. Chips come with hot sauce, not salsa.

Read the high recommendations here, went for lunch with high hopes. 3 of us each got different dishes, and they came quickly. Good food, but nothing to write home about. If this is "great" Mexican food to you, you need to get out more. Average. For a Mexican restaurant in Texas, I would say it is below average. OK, done... More

We found this place by asking the locals and they were unanimous in their recommendation. We were not disappointed. This was just a small little Mexican restaurant that you might never notice just driving by. But the food was delicious, authentic and maybe the best I have ever had! Don't miss this place if you like Mexican food!

Great service, fresh hot tortilla chips that just kept coming, excellent queso and salsa. Hubby really enjoyed his steak. I had the sour cream chicken enchiladas which were also very good.

My husband suggested this place. The food in my opinion was fantastic. It is small, but for me when the place is small, they cook their food with love...if that makes sense. The wait staff are on it...love tipping good people who do their job with a smile.
