Atmosphere!

Loved the historic details of this restaurant. Ordered burgers that were delish and the waiter recommended Carmel cheesecake was just superb! Would definitely recommend for lunch - I didn't get a peek at the dinner menu though. Very reasonable too !

My mother and I discovered miss Hattie's from a pamphlet at the visitors center. It boasted the best burger in texas. We went for a late lunch - around 4pm on a Thursday. We were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered ice tea and a raspberry ice tea. I'm not sure if it was tea or water -... More

I stopped in this place because it was near where I was meeting others. The atmosphere of that part of town was interesting. I was impressed from the wood plank sidewalk to the restaurant's history, to the delightful food, to the exceptional service. Nothing could have made it a better lunch. I recommend the turkey avocado sandwich and bread pudding!

Visited on a Friday night. The atmosphere aims to give the guest a taste of old San Angelo, lots of antiques and the servers dress the part. Plentiful led string lights keep it from being too dim yet not bright where we sat in the back. Live music by Bill (solo guitar) added a Texas country feel. Overall food was... More

Starting with the non-food stuff. I had never been to this town before, got to this restaurant by virtue of an invitation, and the tab was picked up, so I think that makes this a totally unbiased review. Outside: It was not clear where the entry was. I didn't even see a very noticeable sign on the street or in... More

We had the calamari and the gouda tower steak. It was just ok. The steak wasn't seasoned really well, but it was cooked well. The calamari was a little tough but the aioli was good. I think the best part of the meal was the baked potato =) The drinks were ok, but the service and atmosphere was spectacular. I... More

Went to MH for a date night with my husband. We had appetizers and steak. The appetizers were very good and the steak was wonderful-seasoned well and cooked just right, to order (medium-rare). The prices are a little high, in my opinion, but the ambiance, service, and food can make it worth your while for a special occasion, or a... More

I Had the special of the day which was quiche with a salad. Made me want to go home and try making one.Very tasty, flaky crust, just the right amount for lunch. Very nice and friendly waiter. Everyone had something different to eat and everyone was very pleased with their choices.

My friend and I met up at Miss Hattie's this week for the first time in over a year. I'm so glad we picked Miss Hattie's! It was truly the best place to do some catching up. First off, the place is decorated beautifully & the ambience is delightful. I arrived a few minutes earlier than my friend & not... More

Meal has always been good, maybe a little pricey. Every time we have been there they seem to be a little short handed, whether it is lunch or dinner. For some reason this is never our first choice of where to dine but when we go it is always fine. I've never thought "this is fantastic food" but it is... More
