Pretty sure we caught them on an "off" day. Food was horrible, which had been very uncommon in the past (it's been a while since we've eaten here). My wife (who has been to Charcoal House many, many times in the past) ordered steak fingers and didn't make it through the first one. I ordered the chicken fried steak with... More
went on a Friday. service was horrible..Waitress never came to our table to refill our teas, or even to check if we needed anything. Tea was horrible!!!!! Watered down tea. Get this the waitress is up front with her purse milking the clock. went to the counter to complain about the tea, some kid that was bearly old enough to... More

I found a clean table, ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a sweet tea. Tea and fries were very good, the burger looked and... More
Visit was on 12/30/12 Around 12:15pm. The burgers we had were very good. They really seem to have eveyburger that you would want, "Olive, Mushroom, Chili, Jalapeno....etc" The staff is great and I will personally go back again. THANKS BUNCHES.
The steak fingers here are so good. The sauce is simply delicious and I think I could dip anything in that. The chicken fingers are also good. The texas toast and fries are good too. They have good service but the food is good even if you take out. Really recommend trying this place if you are in town. We... More
The steakfingers are awesome. Their location is less than desirable, so don't leave any valuables out in the open.
This is a hometown establishment. I really like this place. The waitress was very personable and the food was well above average tor this area. This is a burger shop and is not high class food. I do think it is well above average for this area though.
This small little- family owned business is a great place if you want a warm experience. They have awesome food and they really make you feel like family there!
Best to call your order in for pick up at their drive in window. The "Poor Boy" special is good for one person ,The "Brown Bag special" which consist of 2 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 drinks is great for 2 people...at decent prices.. these burgers are good and big!. Many folks go here solely for their huge steak fingers....
