My wife and myself stopped twice at this great little restaurant. We found it only by chance. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Since we were only passing through it was a little difficult to find. Also several times we wanted to stop and dine and they were not open. We need to support good restaurants, let... More

This review is soley for their dinner service although we like lunch but they are very different. The pate and apple appetizer was amazing! Both of our entrees were portioned well, cooked properly and tasted incredible. The creme brulee was a great finish to the meal. Of course it's pricey but you get what you pay for. Would like to... I've only been to The River Terrace Restaurant a couple of times, but I must tell you it is fantastic! Definitely some of the most unique and hard-to-find foods in the area and is worth the drive if you have one ahead of you. It's definitely a hush-hush kind of place and it's serious in that it relies on word-of-mouth... More

This Chef is a graduate of CIA in New York and you can tell! The food is outstanding! Service, Drinks and Atmosphere is like a 5 Star Hotel! Give it try, you'll be writing the same review, I promise!

I try out River Terrace every time they change owners/chefs, hoping to be impressed since it's suppose to be one of the few "uppity" eating establishments in this fair city. (It always reminds me of an nice old country club, with an aging membership.) Well, this time around, I found it to be, well, ok. I went on a business... More

I have eaten here a number of times over the years. It occurred to me that I had never written a review so here goes... This restaurant gets better and better. I most recently ate here last week and again was a memorable experience. I had tuna with a spring roll appetizer. Dessert was a chocolate cheesecake and it was... More

Great service...love the foie gras... Dont order the strawberry salad.. This is the kind of restaurant you can get all dressed up for, which i love. It is always lovely to see the seniors crowd there and wish that we can be that happy and sociable when we are at that age :)

Took my parents and we all enjoyed the great buffet and the fabulous view. Wonderful food selections that were plentiful and the hot bread pudding was the grand finale.
