We were really thrown by the 'hidden' cover charge of $5 per person added to the bill with no prior warning PLUS another $1 per person for using a credit card? Who does that? Either collect a cover at the door or don't charge a cover. That just comes across shady as hell. Shrimp tacos were pretty good. Jonesing for... More

Food and music was great, service was a bit slow. They also charge a $5 cover on weekend evenings even before the music starts. We were there for dinner and had not planned to stay for the music so it was an additional $10 to our dinner tab. We did hear one band tuning up and an excellent solo performer... More

This was a great place to eat and had great live music, but they recently closed the doors. Hopefully someone will reopen it.

I'm back. I came for dinner/drinks this evening hoping to give Sealy Flats 5 stars, but I just could not. First of all, I want to say that Rod has done an excellent job and runs a great establishment. The positives tonight were that the entertainment (as usual) was great. Also, the appetizer/entrees that we ordered were great. No complaints... More

If you like music, particularly blues, then you'll live this place. It is located in downtown San Angelo so it is in a great location. Burgers and Mac and cheese were good and service was pleasant and familiar. For a casual dining experience with live music, this fits the bill.

Cool place......I'd say if you want to eat only order appetizers. I had a party of 12 ,with a prior reservation , and ordered proteins in advance. It took an hour and fifteen minutes to get entrees and every one was way overcooked and re makes took another 20 min and wrre wrong aswell. I TOOK THE TIME TO EMAIL... More

Eclectic atmosphere with really good food. They have live music (jazz/blues) almost every night of the week. There is a courtyard in back with a stage that is televised into the main building in case you'd rather stay inside. The owners also restored the old building next door and turned it into a bed and breakfast. Very cool place to... More

When in San Angelo, Tx. you MUST make a trip downtown to Sealy Flats. Great musicians playing Blues and Jazz throughout the week, and on Saturdays, all day, with a live radio show in the afternoon. Artists come from all over to perform there. A very relaxed atmosphere. Sit inside, or on the patio, where the artists perform. I really... More
