Nice lunch

We stopped in for a light lunch and were directed to a table in the back for the six of us. I had the chicken ranch soup and a half sandwich of the turkey on rye with a cranberry spread. The soup and sandwich were good. I ordered iced tea and it wasn't so good. Others the turkey with... read more

I had the sandwich sampler. It was yummy and comes with a fruit salad and chips. We also tried the coconut cake. It was delicious! Also the strawberry lemonade was good.

This is the perfect place to take a break from shopping on Main street to grab lunch. They have amazing sandwiches and soups that really hit the spot. The restaurant is in an old house which makes it very cozy and "warm". The staff here takes excellent care of the guests. All of the items on the menu are prepared... More

I love visiting Ambrosia Tea Room whenever I visit Salado. The cucumber sandwiches are wonderful. This charming little gem goes out of its way to pamper you with freshly made soups, sandwiches, and out of this world desserts. This trip I had the white coconut cake, must have been made by angels.

The Tea Room was enchanting, well decorated, quaint. We ordered the sandwich trio and the Turkey sandwich. No artisan bread just white. All three tea sandwiches were on white bread and rather bland but the real disappointment was the fake veggie fries and the canned fruit cocktail. We did not try any of the desserts although I hear they are... More

If you want a light lunch in an adorable setting this is the place! They have lovely flavored teas, sandwiches, chicken salad, soups, and cakes to die for! And the room is decorated with darling 1920'a hats and costumes and tea items for sale! I have enjoyed going here for over 10 years. Their food is superior.

The reason I say this is an excellent tea room is because they have many different sized rooms for all sized groups to enjoy. The menu is typical tea room with finger sandwiches, homemade soups and good choice of salads. Perfect for my group (girlfriend getaway), but also for birthdays, showers and club meetings. An array of delightful beverage choices was... More

Very cute and yummy food! Staff was very sweet. I love everything about the place. Great place to have a baby shower, bridal shower or just a date with the girls.

I agree with much of the previous review. Our server was very pleasant, cuteatmosphere and a good look cation to some fun shops, but the food was just not good. we ordered the sweet-potato soup and a half turkey sandwich. The soup arrived lukewarm, so we asked to have it heated. Iheard a discussion in the kitchen about the crockpot... More

I hate writing this kind of review, but I read TripAdvisor reviews before going there and still had no idea what I was in for, so I hope to make it clear. Tea bags, not loose leaf. With types of tea not on the standard menu, I had a creeping feeling that I was going to be disappointed. There is... More
