Nice for Lunch

This place is a cute little lunch shop that has special dishes just for the cafe. Their signature ambrosia salad is to die for. Highly recommend this lovely cafe.

Always a good bet with the very friendly staff, cute surroundings, and good food! The soups are delicious, sandwiches great, and beautifully presented. They are always willing to accommodate special requests.

Charming place with really delicious offerings. I had a southwestern soup that was great--and it was served hot. My wife had soup and sandwich combo and she loved it. We are headed back again later this week. Very pleasant service to boot!

I have eaten at the Tea Room 3 times now and always a pleasure. I am planning on taking my three daughters on a date here too.

I had the sandwich sampler. It was yummy and comes with a fruit salad and chips. We also tried the coconut cake. It was delicious! Also the strawberry lemonade was good.

This is the perfect place to take a break from shopping on Main street to grab lunch. They have amazing sandwiches and soups that really hit the spot. The restaurant is in an old house which makes it very cozy and "warm". The staff here takes excellent care of the guests. All of the items on the menu are prepared... More

We stopped in for a light lunch and were directed to a table in the back for the six of us. I had the chicken ranch soup and a half sandwich of the turkey on rye with a cranberry spread. The soup and sandwich were good. I ordered iced tea and it wasn't so good. Others the turkey with guacamole... More

I love visiting Ambrosia Tea Room whenever I visit Salado. The cucumber sandwiches are wonderful. This charming little gem goes out of its way to pamper you with freshly made soups, sandwiches, and out of this world desserts. This trip I had the white coconut cake, must have been made by angels.

The Tea Room was enchanting, well decorated, quaint. We ordered the sandwich trio and the Turkey sandwich. No artisan bread just white. All three tea sandwiches were on white bread and rather bland but the real disappointment was the fake veggie fries and the canned fruit cocktail. We did not try any of the desserts although I hear they are... More
