Good food, remarkably good service!

My son is buying a house in Round Rock, so while driving by the site and checking out the neighborhood, my wife and I decided to try one of the local restaurants. We used this site to check out local restaurants, and we decided to try Juarez Restaurant & Bakery. Small restaurant in a strip shopping... read more

The best Mexican restaurant in Round Rock and it challenges many in Austin and San Antonio. Awesome family-ran business that supports Round Rock and youth activities - and then the food is just great. You can't go wrong with traditional like menudo, carne guisada and barabacoa

Our family stops in this Mexican restaurant for breakfast every chance we can on the weekend. (We drive in from Cedar Park 2-3 times a month.) We really love this place! Their staff are always friendly and, even though they tend to be busy for the breakfast and lunch rush, we always get a table in under 10 minutes. The... More

Authentic Mexican bakery here in Round Rock. I grew up in the Southwest with several Mexican bakeries and I can truly say that Juarez stays true to the Mexican style sweet bread. You wont find your upper scale pastries here just good old style Concha's and Maranitos and Churro's and donas and Cuernitos and so on and so forth...I've never... More

This is hidden away in a small plaza, so it’s easy to drive past. Since I thought this was primarily a bakery, I did drive past many times. A recommendation from a friend brought me in. There’s a counter where the bakery items which are available during the day, but the rest of the space has small tables for the... More

Originally from Austin, lived in DFW for many years and found THE PERFECT cheese enchilada in Fort Worth. After moving back to the area, I came for lunch hoping to find the "perfect" cheese enchilada in this area. I ate 2 bites of the enchilada and knew I would have to continue my search. Very crowded parking lot. Good service.... More

Traditional Tex-Mex for Central Texas with tacos and migas. We've never been here for anything but breakfast. And, they have a great variety of baked goods. Don't leave without picking up some goodies for later. This is close to the interstate so worth a stop if you're driving through. I know some of the other reviewers commented about the service,... A small little bakery off the beaten track but worth the drive. Their tasty treats have a limited selection but they are traditional Mexican and made on site. Great option for lunch too.

While the staff was very nice and the service overall was quick, the food left a lot to be desired. There were 6 adults in our group, so we ordered a large range of things. The only plate that got a thumbs up was the fish taco. The enchiladas didn't have much flavor. The most disappointing of all were probably... More
