The Real Deal

Hoody's Subs are a must-have when you are in Round Rock. Our favorite has always been the Philly Cheesesteak. Hoody talked us into the meatball sub once, though, and we have come back for more many times. We are so happy with those two choices that we haven't tried others. I had never eaten here until a couple of years ago and now I go so aften that they know my name. If going alone, I call ahead and pick up my sandwich without having to wait in line and eat it elsewhere (like in a park or my car). My favorite is the Friday special, the Italian Sausage sandwich.... More

Hoodys subs is amazing!! The owner, Hoody is so kind and he always makes the customers feel welcome and satisfied. The sandwiches are huge and packed full! I love the tuna sub! Plus they have a great variety of chips and drinks! This place is a must if you are craving a great sandwich on nice thick bread!

Went here based on other reviews. Only wished we had found it sooner. Had a cheesesteak and a ham & cheese sub. Both were super. Can't say enough about how good it was. Would definitely go back if we were in the area.

Got take out from this kind of hole in the wall sub shop. Husband had Philly cheesesteak and said it was good. Not the best ever but good. I had Cajun turkey and it was also good. The rolls are really what make the sandwich and liked the Boars Head meats. Service was friendly. Don't think I'd make a special... More

Normally, I'm not a big fan of sub shops like Subway, Quizno's and all the others you're familiar with. I stopped by Hoody's at a suggestion of a friend and I was not disappointed. I had the Italian sausage sub which came loaded with sauce, onions and peppers. It was awesome! It was nothing like I could get at other... More

The place specializes in subs, and the hot ones are far superior to Subway. The workers are very helpful, not in a hurry and friendly. Nice atmosphere to boot. Highly recommend.

seems like a cozy little place for a sandwich - smells great, service was good - the guys behind the counter had a lot of personality. Decent sandwich, not bad prices - but nothing special
