Wonderful TEXMEX

Get the creamy jalapano sauce!! This is such a great place to have lunch or dinner. If you like very flavorful food, you will not be disappointed. I get the Elvis Presley combo, and it is enough food to share with another person. Try it and you will love it!

This used to be the place to bring your friends from out of town. Great choices on the menu. The food is hot, well-presented, staff is always friendly, but harried. It is always packed, day or night, so be prepared to wait. And wait. And oh yeah, this is NOT Tex-Mex by and large. It is really New Mexico-mex. And... More

I'm a huge fan of tex-mex and Cheys is really a great food chain. Location is great, easy access but oh lord is this place loud. There are TONS of tables and if hitting it at lunch or peek dinner just hope you can read lips. The noise level really did it in for me. I'm in my mid 30s... More

Love or leave Chuy's, chances are if you live in Austin that you have been to one of the several locations, and either you love it, or you prefer one of the many good alternatives. However, in Round Rock you have less alternatives, and this place becomes essential. IMO anyway, since I live 25 miles south! Good specials, particularly Tex-Mex... More

Talk about a landmark this should be one. Authentic in keeping Austin/Texas weird but man is the food good. Try everything on the menu. Go for happy hour. Just get there! My two must haves are the jalpeño ranch dip with my chips and a Mexican Martini. Just Go!

Food tasted great, was priced well and not over-priced. It was packed at the time of the visit with a long wait. We ended up taking take-out instead. Overall a great place for Tex-Mex and we would return. I suggest you go early to avoid the crowd.

Love their service - the most personable wait staff around. The food is generally good, drinks are flavorful, prices are high. The line at this Chuy's is always long (location!), and the mango margaritas make the wait bearable.

We love Chuy's but not this location. No matter when you go, there is a crazy long wait. Food is good, service is good, but be prepared to WAIT. Try the Lamar location. That one is our favorite. favorite dish= Elvis Fried Chicken with Boom Boom sauce.

Been to Chuy's in round rock many times, I grew up in El Paso Tx. the home of Tx.Mex. and this is the closest I have found outside of El Paso. Great Margaritas as well.

Been to 3 different Chuy's. The first one in austin, the one in san antonio and this one in round rock. The one in san antonio is the best imo but they all are so good. the fajitas, burritos, salsas, and queso compuesto are the best. The waiter in round rock recommended the steak burrito with the cheese sauce on... More
