I thought the food was really on the low side of average with the exception of one dish....the green chile stew was quite good. We had quite a selection of dishes and I was unimpressed. I had a premium margarita $10.95, it was so-so, but they did have a good selection of tequilas. Our waitress was excellent, so no complaint... More

I went to the Chuy's in Round Rock along with family. I ordered enchiladas but they were not good (gummy and too much salt) The refried beans appeared to be too stiff like they had been under the lights, my mexican rice had hard bits ( i have never had an entire meal be this bad before) I did love... Its a large place and was packed at 8:30 on a Tuesday. 50's theme, Slogan for burritos "Are as big your face" I had a steak burrito, very spicy. Creamy Jalepano dip and light fresh chips were served before hand. Full bar. If your from the Western States you'll understand the Chevy's / On the Boarder same concept.

The food is always great, the staff is always friendly, but this place is always busy, no matter what time of day you try to go. Generally, they will seat you quicker than they anticipate for your wait time.

I've never neen disappointed with a meal at the Chuy's on Round Rock, and this visit for lunch was no exception. I had the Saturday special Mucho Burrito. Decent prices de better by the fact that I had enough left over for supper that night! Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive.

Very good Tex Mex. The green sauce (jalepeno ranch that is), is worth the visit. Good, warm chips and good service.

I used to LOVE Chuys going once a week. When they expanded outside the city and then outside the state of Texas (Georgia and Alabama) I wondered if it would affect the food. It has and not in a good way. The creamy jalapeno dip now tastes like ranch dressing, the steak burrito had filling in the middle but nothing... More

Although the chain has gone nationwide the stores retain their charm. The shrine to ELVIS is an important feature of each store. Great TEX-MEX food
