Another Day Trip

We had a late lunch at Gino's 2/25/15 and it was excellent. Their sauces are all made from scratch on site and are authentic Italian. Gino, was actually born in Italy. By having lunch at 2:30 the lunch crowd was gone and we had the opportunity to meet the chef. He was trained in a culinary school... read more

Hard too find good authentic Italian food in Texas, but this place does it well. Reasonably priced, just a wonderful experience and fantastic food.

went for dinner about 4 months ago just to see if they are any worthwhile places to eat here in Round Rock. Food is like cafeteria food in my opinion. Sauces on the chicken entrees taste like they are out of a can, salad dressing on house salad also tasted like it was out of a bottle. Definitely no real... More

Can't thank Gina enough for treating our team to a great dinner and accommodating 30 people on a Sat. night. The food was awesome and they served the team very quickly. We will visit again. p.s. the tiramisu was soooo good!

We decided to go for Italian - and Gino's was a good choice! We both had veal (Siracusa & Caprese), which came with a salad and a side of spaghetti. We ordered the meatball appetizer, each had a glass of wine, and it all came with bread and some incredible garlic dipping sauce. Gino's pros: good menu selections. EXCELLENT VEAL!... More

We have become regulars here. We love everything that we have tried. The service is great. On the weekend it is best to have a reservation for big parties.

Growing up in the Northeast (New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania), we were spoiled with fantastic Mom and Pop style Italian restaurants. Now here in Texas where the Italian population is very small, there are very few non chain Italian restaurants. That being said, Gino's was OK. I typically judge an Italian restaurant by their red sauce and Gino's was pretty... More

It's pretty decent. It's almost upscale, but the finer touches are not quite there (the vinyl tablecloth, for example). The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was pretty good, but not great. We would give it another chance, but we didn't leave raving.

Great food and service. This is not our first time nor will it be our last. Wine, Pinot Noir Mirrasou, excellent... Start off With a home made bread and seasoned olive oil dipping sauce, excellent. Lasagna, home made and very tastee, one of the best I have ever had. Shrimp Piccata was also excellent but a little skimpy on the shrimp.... More

Loved, loved our evening at Gino's. We wanted a simple evening with good pizza and wine. We had both, but our server Amy was the bomb. I told her we were out of town on business, just wanted a nice relaxing evening with good food and wine. She took from there. It was a wonderful evening and exactly what my... More
