Very Good Meal

This is the second time dining at Main Street Grill when traveling from the Finger Lakes in New York State. The crab cake appetizer was absolutely outstanding - best crab cake I can remember. My dinner was good - that it was not outstanding may be a function of what I ordered and not the cooking... read more

The food here is truly crafted for a more upscale palate. Nice to see locals learn that great food is being served. Lunch and Dinner are always offering different items to try. Worth the trip, worth the money

my wife and I visited about a month ago, and found the restaurant very good (but didn't write a review). prices were expensive, but we thought the quality was very good. we went again last night, and were disappointed. service remains good, prices remain high, but quality has deteriorated. don't know that we will try a 3rd time. we started... It apparently was our servers first day. He seemed unsure and lost. Our experience started slow, but was rescued by the Manager. Once he got involved, our experience was greatly improved. The Manhattan I ordered was the best I've had (once it arrived). The lamb dish was as good as I could have hoped for. Sam saved the day and... More

My husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere of this place and there was a live singer with a lovely voice, but food and prices are what will bring us back. The tomato basil soup was yummy and my salad was also very good. But I had to order these two items to bring my portion of the tab under $17... More

Tonight we visited the Main Street Grill in Round Rock, Texas. We had gotten a good deal on a Groupon ($14 for $40 worth of food) and thought it would be a nice way to start our Thanksgiving holiday. We looked at the menu on-line and figured with prices that high the food must be awesome. Well, we were totally... More

First off they messed up our reservation time. We were seated without menus and had to ask after 10 minutes of being there. Our waiter was slow and inattentive. He never served us bread. Our entrees were good but not worth the price. We ordered bananas fosters and were served raw bananas over ice cream with a not so good... More

I was looking for a local restaurant to have a quiet lunch and found this quaint restaurant that used to be a bank. The vault is still there as a wine cellar. I had the avocado/cream soup and it was delicious. Also had a salad that had figs in it that was good too, The wait staff was friendly and... More

This gem of a restaurant is located in downtown Round Rock in an historic bank building redone with great style and flair. They serve a mean martini and everything we've had has always been outstanding! Their soups, salads, seafood and steaks are off the chart. The hostess and wait staff really serve with politeness and a very appropriate demeanor. Their... More

The restaurant is very pretty. It must have been a bank in a former life, since there is a large safe door in the restaurant. The food is not only excellent but the prices are very reasonable. Cloth napkins, pretty silverware, wait staff excellent. It's a great experience. If you are anywhere near the area. Check it out.
