Great place for MX food.

I tried their Road Kill plate which consists of grilled chicken breast served over Queso, cheese enchiladas with chili con carne and onions and grilled zucchini. This was our first time here and it was surprisingly good. It would have been better if the plate came with beans and tortillas. I will... read more

First of all, we had a great waitress, Sherry. She was very friendly and attentive! That's where the good part ended. We should have known when the chips and salsa were sub-par. This just wasn't good Mexican food, period. To make matters worse, my husband and I suffered for the rest of the afternoon. Uggh, just don't go.

Good food, great drinks away from the busy traffic and high prices of Austin. You have to try the Caldwell Special & Mexican Martinis! Trust me. I'm a regular.

We went to enjoy the fights on the bigscreen. When we got there and sat in the small area for the bigscreen we put 2 and 2 together that there was also a large reservation of multiple gyms having a gathering. They tried to squeez to many of their party in that area. Come to find out they had already... More

Very delicious Tex-Mexico food but very disappointed that the seafood enchiladas disappeared from the menu. Those were my favorite item on the menu besides the papusas.they are excellent but please bring back the seafood enchiladas and I'll come back again

We picked up fajitas for 20 for a party and were impressed. Food was great and they were awesome. They even called the next day to make sure we enjoyed the food! Quality food and awesome customer service! I still don't think it was fajitas for 20, more like for 50!! We had a ton of food left over so... More

This part of Texas is not near as cheap for mexican food as San Antonio, but i still think the food service and hot sauce make up for that. What kills me in this part of the world is that flour tortillas are NOT part of the meal, again a Austin and area idea. I paid an extra dollar for... More

I stopped by last night for dinner. I went to the bar because the service is usually faster, WRONG! It took a while to be seen( there were 2 other folks in the whole place). I had the beef enchiladas. They were ok, but not as hot as I was hoping for. I finished and sat there for another waiting... More

we always get the caldwell special! it's fajitas with shrimp, chicken, and beef! very tasty!! the tortillas are really good and it comes with all the fixins. portions are big so we always end up with a doggy bag. the service is good. it seems like a clean place. good for families or a relaxed meal for two.
