Respectable Mexican Food

We enjoy their food. Their Chiles Relleno are especially good. It would be nice if the employees all spoke English, at least some English. Not spiffy clean and I'd like for it to be but the food makes up for that.

Food here is okay, although for breakfasts other than Mexican, I prefer JJ's Little Bay Cafe. As far as lunches here, they are pretty good and do offer a cheeseburger if you don't want Mexican. Place is clean and staff is friendly. I do wish when they bring your bill the amount would be on the ticket, so you could... More

The breakfast tacos are very good here, and lunch/dinner is pretty good too. The service and facility are average, so don't expect to be blown away by them. This is our favorite Mexican place in Rockport though by far.

The atmosphere was nothing to spectacular but I didn't go there for atmosphere. I went there for a burrito. I was in luck. The tortilla was fresh, the ingredients were plentiful with just the right amount of spice for me. The chips and fresh pico salsa were a great appetizer. If I'm ever in Rockport again I will surely eat... More

My family and I were visiting Rockport and we had 5 people in our group. Three of us ordered 2 breakfast tacos each and one ordered 1 taco and one other ordered a breakfast plate 2 pancakes 1 egg 2 pieces of bacon and we all had tea. It cost us 57 dollars and they added 15% to the bill... More

Have eaten breakfast here for years and got a grim reminder of what happens when you eat inside. Normally we get tacos to go prior to heading out fishing, good tacos, good value. But!!! When you eat in YOU PAY and you can't ever read the handwriting so you can't check the accuracy. We ordered a coffee, diet coke, bacon... More

The food was good. I got a sampler plate with an Enchilada, Tostado, Rice, Beans and a scoop of Guacamole. The Enchilada was my favorite. The Waitress was friendly and seemed to always come just when we needed her. The prices were good for the amount of food that I got. I will eat here when I come back to... More

This used to be one of our favorite places to eat breakfast. I have reviewed this restaurant previously and gave it a great review. However, I don't know if there has been a management change here or what has happened, but our last several experiences have not been good. The first bad experience happened a few months ago with our... More

We ordered takeout. I waited in car for 20-25 minutes. When husband came back with four tacos in a bag there were no napkins, plastic ware or salsa. Really, no salsa for breakfast tacos? Ok they aren't set up for takeout maybe. Husband went back in for missing things. Took another ten minutes. Tacos barely warm. Tortillas dry. Not much... More

I would definitely recommend this place. Their tacos are twice the size of your average taquiera. And they are great at taking food orders having everything ready for you before you head out to go fishing. I would definitely recommend this place.
