As miserable as I was in Rockport, this little restaurant was one of the bright spots. Excellent Mexican food (and A LOT of it!), great service (except for one waitress who needs to not be there....). If I ever have to go back to Rockport (God Forbid!), I will definitely be eating at least one meal here. You won't regret... More

Entered on a Sunday and the Taqueria was half-empty....or (cough, cough) half-full. No one greeted me ... no "ola," no smile. I think it is a seat yourself restaurant. I wanted takeout so I approached the register and stood and stood and finally got a look. I requested a menu and said that I would be entering a takeout order.... More

We eat here on a fairly regular basis. Great food. Their tacos are very large. They have great Menudo and their Barbacoa is never greasy. Their prices are very low. You get a great plate of food at a very inexpensive price.

great valued Mexican breakfast/lunch/dinner.... extensive menu, relaxed, casual diner type place. Family owned/operated. Service sometimes a little lax, but liveable. The best "ranchero sauce" around. Try it on eggs, or hamburger steak, or over a fiesta burrito, it rocks!!

They do make the best ranchero in town, try it on breakfasts, the steak ranchero is great. Tortillas made on site, family owned and operated. Service staff a little lax at times, but the food and value is worth it.

Just a little beyond the basic Mexican menu. Good chicken enchiladas, nice fresh salsa. Basic interior, but clean.

We were looking for a new place to try in Rockport and stopped in here. It looks like it is going to be great Mexican food, at a good price - it's a hole in the wall. :) $50 later - before tip - we had lunch for 2 adults and 3 kids = 3 enchiladas w rice, 2 fried... More

We usually get our taco fix here. Kind of a big hole in wall. Always crowded but service, though not best, is fast and food comes hot and fast as well. May try another taco place just to compare. I read reviews for a couple other places that got decent review.

My husband and I are looking for new restaurants to try. The parking lot was crowded so we stopped for breakfast. What a disappointment. The tortillas were the only good thing. Eggs were dry, potatoes; bland and orange juice presented in a Tropicana bottle. The waitress never returned to ask if we wanted more coffee. The other Mexican restaurant down... More
