The first thing you notice is the art gallery nestled in the restaurant. The food is wonderful as is the service. Definitely a place to experience.

This icon in Rockport is the go to place when you want a good meal, excellent service and soft quiet ambiance. They have had the same menu for years and after a few visits you have seen it all but recently they have changed some items up and changed a few items to update the menu. When all else is... More

Spent an evening at this restaurant with 5 other friends. Each of us had a different dish and all said the food was good. I had a shrimp dish with pasta that was good, not great. Overall you can expect a decent meal, but not inexpensive. The environment was very pretty with art work surrounding on the walls and on... More

The food (fresh Drum) was okay (not great), but the art in the adjacent gallery was better. We had reservations for 7:30 PM, were seated about 8:00 PM, but were not served until after 9:00 PM. Not many diners arriving, just seemed they were understaffed for the evening. Management acknowledged the problem and made some amends after we finally said... More

This restaurant is set within an art gallery so you have plenty to look at apart from other people and the wonderful view out to the sea. I rarely eat fish or shellfish so I went here just to please my husband. To my delight and surprise, I tried the drum, a fish I have never tasted, and it is... More

My husband and I decided on Latitude's when we found that Allegro Bay had closed early. Latitude's has a very nice atmosphere, simple and elegant, but not overdone. I ordered the special, which was a lobster tail dish with hollandaise sauce. My husband had the tenderloin with bernaise and butter. Although I enjoyed my meal, I am often wary about... More

The blackened chipotle black drum was the best fish I've had in a long time. The service was good and the place was very interesting with the artwork throughout the restaurant. My creme brûlée was nothing spectacular but was nice having the fire glaze done at the table. I wish I had some of that drum right now.

I have to assume that all the 5 star reviews are due to there not being much to choose from in Rockport. This restaurant would never survive in Houston. Service was very good. (Jennifer was our server) Food was at best average. Husband had the duck. It seems like they were trying to hard on this dish. We have had... More

Italian food and art, that is Latitude 28 02. The food was good, the wine choices great. There was a bit of stuffy attitude here which may need to be toned down a bit. Still worth a visit.
