Small restaurant but has outdoor seating, as well. BYOB. The fish is the best & the tater tots are excellent! Good service & very professional servers. Can't wait to go back.

A hidden gym with seafood and outstanding burgers. Their crab burger is also good. Try their fried green beans and bread pudding. This place is amazing don't pass it by

We visited Shempy's with some friends with a party of 16. Surprisingly the service was great with such a large party especially with a small interior. The catfish was excellent. Not crazy about the crab cakes. We did see a NICE platter served behind us so had to ask what they ordered and it turns out that Shempy cooks their... More

Good, fresh seafood with something on the menu for everyone. The prices for fresh, local seafood are in line with other "higher profile" restaurants and there are plenty of choices for all ages.

A little pricey. Good shrimp. Crab cakes not the best. Attentive server. Small cafe. Not a lot of selection of seafood.

first of all - stop at the bar next door and pick up your beer - no kidding. they serve ice water, tea and soft drinks. this is not a table cloth kind of place - it is great seafood at an honest price. if you are looking for fancy- keep driving. they are always busy and it might take... More

Tried Shempys tonight for dinner and it lived up to it's #1 Trip Advisor rating. The Mahi Mahi on special was large and very good. Tried soft shell crab for the first time! My 4 year old said they had the "best" chicken nuggets anywhere! Hole in the wall atmosphere but typical...the food was great!! Highly recommend!

We'll come here again if we visit Rockport. The food was very good and the staff was friendly and really wanted to make sure we had what we needed. The atmosphere was very casual and it was a small restaurant, but the back porch was screened in and we could see the sunset while we ate. (Although, this was also... More
